PIED gotten worse since I've been trying to quit

I've been trying to quit PMO now for about 11 months. I've drastically cut back my use, and my streaks are getting longer. I'm taking lots of steps to kick this habit for good -- seeing a therapist, drastic lifestyle changes, getting out of the house, etc. I've seen a lot of improvement over these months in a ton of different areas. Most notably, concentration and focus, motivation, and just getting more enjoyment out of life.

But where I haven't seen improvement is in my PIED. I had PIED occasionally before I learned about porn addiction and started trying to quit. It wasn't every time, and it usually wasn't that severe. But fast forward to now, and I basically can't achieve an erection with my partner (unless it's early in the morning -- I don't know why that makes a difference). And if I do get even the slightest erection, I typically orgasm almost immediately after. It's been like this for a few weeks now. I also viewed some pornography recently, just a few minutes, and it felt like I was going to orgasm almost instantly, completely soft. Anyone else seen this? How long does this state last? It's been pretty alarming so far.

Maybe this video will help..I'm assuming you're not MO at all from what you said. Maybe that isn't the answer, maybe that's what you need to rewire.

It's solely my opinion but maybe you should rewire by MO(in healthy moderation) to something other than porn, like sensation.

Tell me what you think and watch the video of you feel like it. Good luck my friend

That video is interesting. I used to be a lot more lax with myself about MO, focusing on abstaining from P. In a lot of ways, I think I made more progress back then than I have been lately, since I got more strict with myself about MO without P. I might give that a try, see if it works better for me. Thanks for the feedback.

I know this is really hard to hear but everytime you slip up you delay your progress. So saying that you have drastically cut back or had longer streaks that is unlikely to be enough. Have you done no PMO for at least 90 days and still had these issues? Are you doing hard mode or having sex? You have to cut it all out. Until you do you can’t truly see the effects.

  5. I agree with GG2002...although no PMO is really freaking hard and sucks at times we need to do the time to reap the benefits. Good luck!!

Yeah, I know it's not enough, and I'm still trying. I haven't managed to go 90 days yet. Been on normal mode, until a few weeks ago, doing a month of hard mode.

I’m your age and it took me a good three months to notice big changes. I’m in hard mode. I’ve had a few relapses but been in hard mode over 3 months.
