Penis Size?

Discussion in 'Porn-Induced Sexual Dysfunctions' started by S.A.D., Aug 18, 2017.

  1. Comparing ourselves to others is always a recipe for disaster - it makes us feel good right up to the point that we find ourselves feeling like the "loser"

But, I can only speak from my perspective and as I was watching porn with a 4 3/4" dick, they all seemed pretty big to me and as far as I'm concerned anything over six inches is big and anything over seven is huge!

@BlueDragonfly, that must be awesome having 7 3/4" and I can only imagine what it's like watching porn from that perspective. I'm always worried about getting a hard on in public, but wow, that thing must be popping out of your pants!

I think it matters more than people like to admit, but for most women anything close to average is good enough and definitely not a deal breaker. Some women have told me that I am too small and/or that they would definitely prefer something bigger, but all you guys with more than 5 inches shouldn't have much to worry about with most* women.

*A friend once told me that about 15% of women are "size-queens". That sounds about right to me. That means that 85% aren't. ;)

  2. Is that a response to @S.A.D. ? I totally agree. Definitely bigger than average.

Or is it to @BlueDragonfly ? Agree again. The thought of it is almost intimidating . . .

Or is it to the most recent person who posted (myself)? Some might beg to differ. But I've had my whole life to deal with it. I'm glad that it works. I've chosen not to try to change it. Learning to love my body. To me that is the most important thing - staying fit and eating well. Love the body temple. I hated my body for a long time, but it's the only one that I have, so I might as well give it some good loving :)

I wouldn't even want to try and guess how may discussions like this about penis size by men I have seen in 20 years of exposure to the internet. You know what I have NEVER seen in all the time? WOMEN discussing penis size, or cut/uncut for that matter either.

    Does this tell you anything?

  5. Women like trimmed pubes on guys

  6. Nice :)

  7. "Never" is a strong word, even more so in bold and caps. You might not have noticed, but there were women weighing in on this thread (albeit started by a male) on circumcision in which you participated:

You are probably right, men probably obsess about this more than women . . . but I'm sure women talk about it, just maybe not openly. I think that women are conditioned to not talk about these sorts of things and to not indicate a preference. To do so might make them look hyper-sexual or suggest that they've had a lot of sexual experience in order to compare penises. I imagine, in my culture anyway, that the biggest concern a female would have is that other girls would judge her for saying something on this topic.

But times are a changing. Off the top of my head, I can think of at least three discussions on penis size that were started by women. Once was in a human sexuality class where the women all agreed that "size doesn't matter that much, as long as the guy is at least average." The other two were in the work place . . .

Correction accepted. And yes, I did not read the entirety of the thread in question.

I will still insist that the preponderance of the evidence even in a completely anonymous internet environment shows that men obsess over penises to a degree that is magnitudes greater than do women. Sometimes to a degree that is beyond the edge of reason.
