    Hi fellow Fabstronauts,

has anyone experienced pain in groin area during your reboot? I've been in hardmode for 175 day, including no sex and I'm experiencing tension and pain in my right groin last couple of days. Should I stop practicing hard mode? Have you experienced anything similar? How did you solve this problem? Thanks for your answers.

One way is to ejaculate other than that try anything to get the blood moving like exercise, a hot bath, etc. Look up vasocongestion.

Thanks... That could be a reason. I stopped regularly exercising last 14 days. This thing is really painful. I used to have some discomfort in balls from time to time, but this is much worse. Do you think going so long without ejaculation is a safe thing? I used to have wet dreams when doing 90 days hard mode streaks before, but I had none in current 6 months streak.

Yes, there are monks (actual monks) that pretty much lived their entire life without ejaculating. Although, if you say that the pain is getting worse than before you should pass some time and if the pain is still there, you should get checked.

Did you have any similar experience? If so, did pain go away after time. I don't want to go to urologist and say I hadn't ejaculated for 6 months. He'll probably just laugh at me and tell me I don't need him to do that.

That’s a long time without releasing anything even a wet dream

It is... I've decided to go to massage salon next week to get a release. It's been enough abstinence time, I guess. I'm worried this is not healthy anymore.

CHekceithcgour doctor first. Why throw away your sobriety if you don’t have to.

I have 57 days today and I don’t have any of those symptoms, I’m doing hardmode. I’ll keep an eye out for this. I haven’t been aroused at all or practiced any edging either, and no unnecessary touching (only for bathroom and shower); maybe this is why I haven’t had any?

It could be a hernia also, best to have yourself checked out by a professional and be 100% honest with them.

A technique that I used during my porn addiction times when edging for weeks, was to take a very deep breath and slowly with a lot of pressure blow the air out, keeping my lips really tight as if I was blowing into a small straw. Repeat this 5-10 times and it should get a bit better if it’s blue balls.

  11. Pain in the groin area has never happened to me, although my longest strike was 45 days. I hope you get better soon!

Thanks. It hasn't to me either until now. I've done two 90 days streaks od complete abstinence before current, longer one.

Getting to urologist is pain in the ass in my country. If you're not dying, you'll have to wait for at least 2 months. I don't believe it's hernia, as I don't have any back pain.

I'm not going to throw my progress away. I'll just get a release and continue my hard mode journey. I don't want to MB anymore and I don't have a partner right now, so massage salon is the next best thing. MB is just too much of a gamble for me. I've tried to control it, but failed miserably for almost two decades. I'm not taking that road again.

Need more info. The way you pmo before, how long you sit, do you pee after ejectculation, diet, the type of pain (sharp, dull, numb, etc), is it consistent, in the morning or in the night time, scale and duration of pain, other potential activities ?

I have 4+ year dull pain that no Dr can find out what is wrong with me at one point and I have to do many trial and error and research. Let me know the details and I will try to help.

Yes, took years to heal but I think it was due to some micro injury or irritation in muscle or soft tissues. I know for sure part of it is due to my masturbation posture sitting on a chair which cause extra pressure. Try hot bath in a tub to see if that can temporarily relieve the pain at least.

I have been dealing with this pain for 14 months now. I have seen a series of doctors, but with no explanations. I have figure out that ejacuation causes my symptoms to become more extreme. I feel really hopeless

Sorry about that. I had mine for like 4 years before it went away. In my case if you don't let it heal properly, it will keep taking longer to heal. Let me guess, did your doctor diagnose you with irritable bowel syndrome? Or chronic minor prostatitis?
If you pm me detail about your case, I see if I can offer any insight. Describe your pain, intensity, frequency, habit, diet, sleep pattern, pmo posture, duration of pain, what relieve and worsen the pain, difference between morning and evening, sitting/standing/ moving duration and posture, and any other helpful info. I looked up so much stuff and done my research. I am not doctor, but I work in medical field and discussed a lot of my doctor colleagues for my condition (also went to psychologist, urologist, general medicine, GI, neurologist, sports medicine and none could figure out).

  19. This reminds me of my kidney stone problems... I don't know how this will sound but I've had kidney infections with stones after each relapse during my reboot. Then again had an underlying infection so don't know if there are any connections to your case or pmo for that matter. But yeah, this sounds familiar. The dull pain especially. If the pain gets worse or persists, try a Chinese herbal remedy to dissolve the stones. I know of a good one but don't know if I can promote it here. It consists of herbs coming out of the Hymalaya area. Really hope you don't have stones or get colics because that I wouldn't wish upon anyone. Heat pads can help. Also, supplementation with zinc can cause the pain you're describing. If that's the case you most likely have high estrogen levels.
