I agree. As you said, the human body is not evil. Last week, I think it was, a member here referred to their "evil cock"! I think that is what happens when people are prudes. As far as I am concerned, there is no such thing as an evil cock or an evil cunt.

What does nudity mean to you? I'm very interested in your thoughts about that because I don't know how nudity could mean more than just being naked. Are you offended by nude art such as paintings that has been produced over countless centuries? Do you think nude models for art classes should be banned?

Just to be clear, when I'm talking about nudity I mean only that the body is in a unclothed nonsexual state such as taking a shower or changing clothes. IMO there is nothing shameful or wrong about that and if another person sees you there is nothing wrong with it. I don't look at it as being unmoral. I don't look at it as a sin because there's nothing sexual about it and IMO nonsexual nudity isn't sinful. I realize that others have a different belief and that's fine. I'm mainly addressing the folks that have this whole mindset that nudity equals sex. That couldn't be farther from the truth, at least in the way I view the world.

I absolutely agree and I gave you a like despite your use of the word cunt. I don't like that word. I find it so demeaning of women because people have used it so much as a put down of women.

Interesting. The phrase "you cock" is often used as a pejorative towards men. Do you object to the demeaning of men? As it happens I have only ever used the other word to men and never to women. So it doesn't have that association with me.

I've never dared called a woman a cunt but I've heard people do it and I've heard it in "music" and it makes my skin crawl. I say "music" because I don't really consider that kind of garbage to be music. And no, I don't have the same thoughts about the word cock. I'm used to women getting pissed and calling men dickheads. I've even called men dickheads. One of my favorite sayings is "use your head and not your head." LOL!! I've never heard anyone call a guy a cock as a way of demeaning them.

I also feel the same way about bitch. I wouldn't dare call a woman a bitch unless I was extremely angry with them and it would have to be someone I really hate. Therefore it is very rare for me to ever call a woman a bitch. But I do use the phrase bitch to describe people who are complaining endlessly about nothing. I'll say something like "why are you in such a bitchy mood?" or "all you ever do is bitch and moan."

    Hahaha! Nice one! :D
One from popular entertainment was from the "Sherlock" series. Watson said to Sherlock, "You cock!" This was when the latter had tricked the former into believing that a huge bomb on a train carriage they couldn't escape from was not possible to disarm. I think he used it once or twice more in the series.

I have never had cause to call anyone of either sex a bitch. But I wouldn't hesitate if it was the best description of them. I have never heard the word you don't like in "music". But I only listen to real music with real musicians and composers. ;)

Ok. Fair enough stance about the subject. Appreciate the mature and open debate on the subject unlike a couple of the other responses that were just off the wall nonsense.

This is ridiculous...The reason these infectious diseases aren't killing anyone anymore is because of vaccines (*hitting head against the counter*), does that make sense to you? Just because people are eating and smoking themselves to death, doesn't make anti-vaccination any less important than what it is (Yes, eating healthy and not smoking is important, but it doesn't make any less important that people should be vaccinated, this is a very poor argument).

France is not a good example. There are lots of Muslims there and sometimes terrorists. French have not integrated very well their foreign communities, especially the Muslim communities. They come from a very different background. So, if they see topless women they are very triggered!

I don't like countries like France with lots of hypocrisy and extremism. On the one hand , you have the French, who seem to enjoy their lives(which is not even true, given the number of people suffering from loneliness/solitude in France). On the other hand you have the Muslim Arabs with their hair covered women, who find the French disgusting and despise them....

I come from Eastern Europe and I am not even a Muslim, I come from a Christian background(although I am more of a Buddhist now) but I get really triggered if I see topless women!

So, I prefer the way of Americans or English people than the way of French!

  10. Although I believe in a higher universal power, I do think this whole prudish thing comes from religion. I mean it says in the bible Matthew 5:28 "But I tell you that anyone who looks at women lustfully has committed adultery in her heart."

I used France because I was watching National Lampoon's European Vacation and there's a scene in the movie of topless dancers and the topic is about how it's the French culture. So then I did a search and realized that it appears nudity is France is far less strict than what I'm used to here in USA.

As for you getting triggered by seeing a topless woman, why is that? What makes you so triggered about seeing a topless woman? Why is it so bad?

You can admire a woman's beauty and not lust to have sex with her. Those are two completely different thoughts and emotions.

Men usually get triggered by women' breasts in European and American cultures especially. It's interesting however, that some African tribes say that they don't get triggered at all by women' breasts and I think this happens because those African women are naked all the time...

I think it's quite normal to be attracted to women breasts. They represent feminine nature.

I remember that although I haven't watched porn for the last 52 days, a few times I looked at the pictures on the internet of topless women protesting in France.

    Those were topless feminists.

  14. Well, that argument would work if it was a nudist camp. I live in Florida. Everybody knows it's hot and humid here. Florida has a lot of nudist communities. But here's the catch. Florida is also conservative as well. You can't have oral or anal sex. Why? I don't know and I could care less.

  15. Okay

  16. That's what I do. Why do people care about something so trivial? I will never understand humanity for the life of me.

  17. This is why feminism is a plague on humanity. Respect the breast. Don't mess with a man's test.

Sex is the key word in the second part of your statement. Nudity does not equal sex. I'll believe that until I die. I'll never figure this whole just because someone is naked that means it's sexual in nature or they're just having a big orgy.

  19. Well, then. Smack me into oblivion, why don't you?

I don't know. I don't understand why a woman is shamed because she wants to go around topless in the same places where it's ok for a man to go around topless.

@Ginny Weasley doesn't want to go naked and that's fine. It's her right to not go topless or completely naked. That's a personal decision that she's made and since it's her body it's her decision and no one else's.

But I don't think we should shame women that want equal topless rights with men and call it "indecent." What exactly makes it "indecent?" The people that can't control themselves at the sight and thought of a naked breast? The same folks that throw a fit if a woman is breastfeeding her baby in the park? Every time I hear or read about a woman being shamed for breastfeeding in public I get triggered that she's being shamed for doing something that is not sexual and completely natural. As for the folks that try to compare that to things like actually having sex in public, that's completely different and rightly banned in most countries and cultures. Sex is a private act. No one needs to see that.

It's why porn is so corruptible. Porn has taken something holy and made it an abomination. Porn has caused people to become perverted. One of the most viewed porn categories is incest porn. Yuck! Seeing a woman topless and breastfeeding wouldn't have the same affect in my book and if it does and a person wants to start sucking milk from a woman's breasts, well, then that person has some serious issues.
