Even with my phone and laptop completely blocked I found a way to watch porn, on someone else's phone. Personally, I cant remember the last time I masturbated,
rubbing my dick through my pants and jazzing in my boxers isn't masturbation...

The root cause of my addiction is sexual repression... so doesn't it make sense to allow myself to masturbate and feel what a good orgasm feels like? I'm so sexually frustrated I'm on the verge of suicide.

From now on, fuck NoFap... Ill go a week, then masturbate slowly, no fantasy, just touch and feelings... having a good orgasm will release a lot of sexual tension and help me feel more relaxed and reduce my anxiety. Once a week for a month, then every 2 weeks, 3 weeks.... build up to once a month. Maybe at some point Ill be able to do the whole nofap thing but for now... It's not working for me, and I see a lot of guys here struggling with it too, the success rate is incredibly low.

Maybe NoFap isn't the only way...

A lot of people will disagree with you but you have to remember that they are all (even me!) just random people on the internet and you need to find your own path and your own solution instead of just letting people here tell you what to think. Use the forums opinions to inform decisions sure, but dont feel bad just because you feel like you arent living up to the standards set by people who are essentially strangers to you.

Having said all that, be very careful with this new strategy, I attempted it and it always led to severe binging instead of moderation. If you can keep urges under control then great but its very risky.

FOR ME, it was either live the depressed/euphoric vicious cycle of PMO or sobriety. I chose the latter because it felt what was "right" for me. I hope you find your way my friend!

  4. I gotta tell you by my experience: it didn't work for me, when I was in church, I tried to stop it and said to myself: " I gonna stop it slowly, will do my best to not to do, but if I relapse it's okay, God will forgive me and I will try again." I was doing well, pmo once a week instead of everyday for a month, but in the end, I was binging hard again and because of the shame and guilt, I left my church.

Do what works for you man, I'm not judging, everyone is different. I've been experimenting with different things, from having an "allowance" of relapses, to just avoiding it, and I've felt my best when abstaining, then again, I do things like hit the gym and diet. I remember one time when I only did 10 days of NoFap, I had been staying consistent with my weight training and feeling particularly "pumped" and euphoric, relapsed that same night, went to work the next day with the same benefits, I was super energetic and euphoric, but I only relapsed once, didn't do a marathon-fap. I still prefer abstaining just cause I feel shitty when I don't, but it just goes to show the human body is complex, the more bad habits you cut out and the more good ones you place in, the better off you are. I know some people who said they just do a 1 week cycle of NoFap, abstain for 7 days until they reach that 130% testosterone peak, then fap one out after it drops down.
I think everyone should know their own body, I know mine, I know what has and hasn't worked for me, and I have my own plan, which is abstaining as much as I can.

  6. I think you're jumping the gun, man.

To share my own experiences, I too have blocked my phone from accessing porn sites, but I ended up finding two apps that completely bypass that. Yet I still reached a record of 40 Days of NoFap.

And my computer can freely access porn as well. Disabling the blocker takes only a few clicks. I just refuse to do it is all.

I wish you luck on your attempt nonetheless, though. Who knows, maybe this strategy will work for you.
