New to NoFap

    I'm new to NoFap and am not sure how to start a challenge. I'm interested in PM mode because I want to end watching porn and masturbating in order to reverse what I believe is PIED, and, enjoy a health sexual relationship with my wife. How do I get started?

    If you are serious about this, I also invite you to answer my 3 questions that I like to ask new rebooters (including myself):

    1) What is the BIG reason that you want to quit watching porn, and how often do you acknowledge this reason every day?

    2) WHERE and WHEN do your temptations come, and how are you going to fight them and flee from them?

    3) What actions would you like to do instead of porn, and how are you going to begin those actions?

    Important questions. There are many reasons I want to make these changes. I believe porn is morally wrong, degrading to women and men, and has caused PIED which has harmed intimacy with my wife. I remind myself of these things multiple times each day, and ask God to help me each time I pray. I try respond to urges by playing music or reading, two passions of mine. Nights and mornings are the high risk times

    You could even do the Everest Challenge! It’s my personal favorite because it gives you 5 day goal periods. It’s also kind of fun to imagine that you’re actually climbing a mountain, because in our world, PMO is our Everest! I would definitely keep your WHY in your mind, as Xigwon mentioned as well! That’s a great motivator right there.
