Hey guys, I'm fairly new to NoFap, and I'm writing this because I'm extremely anxious about something. Before I start, let me share my story:

So basically, I'm 23 and my new girlfriend and I were making out last week when she was petting/rubbing my inner thighs in a public area. That made me feel very uncomfortable because I was unable to get an erection. I kind of panicked internally and I'm not sure if she was aware, but we stopped kissing and continued walking holding hands. Later that day when we were sitting in a lounge, her leg was on top of mine, and I wasn't even able to get half an erection, even when she was grinding on me before we parted ways, same thing. I went home and I felt blue balls, so I eventually masturbated when I got home. This was last Friday. On Saturday, I stumbled upon NoFap and felt extremely relieved to find out I'm not alone ever since, so it has been a week. Ever since then, I decided to quit masturbating (mind you, I quit porn about a month ago and have absolutely no desire to watch it anymore). As of now, I have absolutely no sexual desire/libido, and no desire to masturbate either. I do get about half-erect morning wood most days. I've been masturbating an average of 2 times per week since I was about 12-13, and masturbating with porn mostly since the age of 15 (also an average of around twice weekly) till last month.
Now I have a couple questions:
    1. How do I go about telling my girlfriend this? I need to get this off of my chest next time I see her next week.
    2. How long will flatline last? How long till full recovery? I've been in a flatline with withdrawal symptoms ever since the day I quitted. (Last Friday)
    3. Should I masturbate if I have blue balls again after seeing her? Should I try pleasing her orally or with my hands? After all, this is part of rewiring my brain to what comes naturally instead of porn, right?
    4. Should I attempt having sex or doing anything sexual when I start seeing improvement, or should I just not do anything at all with her until full recovery? Because I do not have any desire to watch porn or masturbate, and I only possibly have a desire to masturbate if it's after seeing her.

Sorry for the very long post, but any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Do things on your terms and what feels comfortable to you. If your girl loves you, she should support you all the way, especially if you've been together a while. As long as she's not a gossiper and will tell a bunch of people, (like she'd hold that over your head if she was pissed at you). Check out the website, YBOP, (Your Brain On Porn), tons of different opinions and outlooks about what a "reboot" means. It's very individual. Myself, I'm 44 and have been PMOing for years. I'd jerk off just fantasizing, not realizing the damage I was doing until I was with a chick. Then, it was like, What the fuck is going on here? Scared the fuck outta me, not to mention the complete embarrassment over the situation. Just awful. You're gonna be ok, but you need to stop ALL synthetic stimulation because that's how your brain became wired in the first place. If your dick still works with your girl, I think that's fine and you're building a positive neural pathway from your brain to your dick. You're gonna be just fine, Brother. Hope that helped a little.

I would say to tell the truth. Be honest about it. I'm actually in the same position as you (just 1 extra month down the path). I just started dating a new girl and I could barely get it up. I failed to have sex more than I succeeded with her. I also experienced flatline symptoms (unable to get/maintain a proper erection) about 1.5 weeks after quitting porn. I told her everything and she has been really supportive. She said she is happy to wait until it's fixed, even when I told her it could take 9+ months.

That's awesome man! How many days has it been since you stopped PMO? And were you able to have sex with her at least once? Also, if you have passed flatline, how long did it take to get over flatlined?

I have only had sex with her twice so far, and it was really hard for me to get and maintain an erection both times.

The weird thing is, that when I used to watch porn, I could easily get and maintain a rock hard erection with girls in my bed. Even if a girl just touched me while next to me in my bed I would get a erection so strong it was often painful.

But ever since I decided to quit porn, it's been basically impossible to get/maintain proper erections. I quit watching porn from the first day of August this year. It's now been 2 months, and while there has been some improvement, it's not much so far. I still can't get a 100% erection without a lot of physical stimulation. But I have read a few stories where it's taken guys much longer than 2 months to recover properly - so I must be patient.

It's so strange that quitting porn makes erections worse. I hope this is only a temporary thing as I have read from other stories. In either case, I can't go back to porn, I don't want that lifestyle of isolation. I'm so over it. I'm sick of it. Real women are so much better it's not even comparable.

I'm sure it's only temporary. Just a matter of time man. You got this!

Yes I have. I was able to have sex last week - finally! After nearly 4 months. I only lasted 10 mins, about 1/2 the time I normally last. But it was pretty intense and was able to make my gf O really hard. But I'm still not 100%, but it's definitely WAY better. Improvements are slow, but I'm grateful. About 2 weeks after I quit porn, I couldn't get proper erections at all. It was one of the most brutal things I have ever experienced (mentally speaking).
