I'm a 24 year old here that's currently in medical school. This last year I started taking test-boosters and started noticing some changes in my PMO behaviour. I was starting to M 3 or 4 times a day, including a porn sesion with each M. I went from softcore to a "medium" hardcore then I suddenly realized my problem and that I had to do something about it. The first time I tried NoFap was a month ago, I lasted for 9 days first, then I had sex with a chick I met and went straight for 16 days until I broke it this past week. Being in my career stress builds up and I think that's a factor that's playing a mayor role. To be honest I've just had 1 girlfriend in my life and I'm scared of forming real bonds with any girl I know so I'm the type of hit it and quit it guy and my PM isn't helping. The 16 days I went with NoFap I experienced more attraction towards me from girls in school and on the gym/streets. I noticed a lot more energy while hitting the gym. I'm on my 2nd day at the moment. Btw do you guys count sex as a relapse?

  2. Hi! :)

Welcome to the forums. I hope you find success in your reboot journey. :)

Remember, one day, one step at a time can lead you to some pretty good goals.

    Best wishes

  3. No, real sex is not a relapse. However, paying for sex is a relapse.

  4. It depends on your goals, your beliefs, and the intent behind the sex. If a period without orgasm is a goal of yours, then obviously it would be a relapse. If the sex was simple lust/selfish wants, then it could be a relapse if your goal is to only engage in sex with someone with whom you have an intimate relationship.
The other thing is that often times any sex will trigger an after-effect where you are more likely to engage in PMO, so you'd need to be careful and watch for signs of that if you are to avoid it.
