    My Journal
In my journey of the nofap till now which consisted of few failures and some small streaks, I've learned some lessons from my mistakes.

First of all, I have realized that sexual triggers are responsible for fails. Sometimes I thought that this is not intense to watch or sometimes when we find something accidentally triggering, we become curious to just to take a quick look on it. So I realized that even a little of anything triggering could possibly lead to a relapse or powerful urges. Now, I have decided to not consume (primarily looking) even a little of sexual triggers. Small mistakes can lead us to commit bigger mistakes so now I will not allow myself to deliberately look for trouble, even a little. Although accidental encounters, while internet surfing and in real life are out of my control but continuing to seek more of something that is visually pleasing, is a choice to make.

Secondly, I feel that PMO is one of the most important reasons why we men feel powerless when it comes to having a conversation with a woman. By abstaining from triggers and PMO we are actually rewiring our brain to stop fantasizing about how to get women and then fapping to P as a substitute and gaining nothing out of it. She wouldn't like me back. It's just a waste of time and energy. So abstinence will teach me how to be happy with myself and not depending on her for my happiness. It will also remove the unconscious needy behavior I have while I am around people. I would be able to focus clearly on my true goals of life which will benefit me. I will give less importance to issues like trying to attract a female and will not bother trying hard if she is not interested. I'll just move on...
