I'm new here, and I think I've taken a step in the right direction. Whilst I don't consider porn to have an effect on my day-to-day life, it has definitely had a huge effect on my sexual life. I've been using porn since I was about 12 or 13 I suppose, and discovering such a tool so early means that I started to use it heavily. Over the years, I have become increasingly desensitised to normal, 'vanilla' porn and have been continuously looking for more extreme ways to satisfy myself. I often have no desire to actually perform the acts I see in videos, but there is no other way for me to reach satisfaction and orgasm.

I have a girlfriend, who I have been going out with for about a year and a half. I love her to bits, but I have found that my porn use has negatively affected my sex life and performance. I often cannot orgasm for an hour or even longer, and I'm always fantasising about other things rather than indulging completely in my partner. I want to 'reboot', and go back to the full enjoyment I used to get .

Does anyone have any tips for me to get started, especially anyone with a girlfriend/partner?
