Need help with meditating

    hi everyone I'm currently 2 weeks plus with no PMO , had an urge the other day but I was able to report here and a few members helped me out , my question is what meditating regime do you do ? Negative thoughts are clouding my head now that I no longer fap, I feel like adding that can help would really appreciate some feedback

    Hi,

    I Do 15-20 minutes of meditation before i start my Day. To begin maybe use some guided meditation with topics like 'love yourself' or 'basic trust'. You can also Meditate just on your own in complete silence or with some mantra sounds. (I recommend to google up, which ones good for you, usually the root mantra is a good one to start with i guess) In the first sessions my mind was very noisy, but that got better with every session. I usually need 5 minutes “warm up“ until the “resistance“ gets less. Take a few deep breathes and try focussing on your breath.

    I'd be careful if I were you. Meditation doesn't work fast (nothing does, except drugs lol!) and it can make things worse before it starts to work. To me meditation feels like some kind of exposure therapy because it somehow isolates the anxiety/OCD and makes it the only thing that my mind or body can feel before I can enter into a deeper state.

    I found the "Calm" app and it has been my first foray into meditation. I can say that it helps immensely! I find that guided meditation is more helpful as a trigger buster. Good luck!

    thank you guys for the replies lll google some of the meditation suggestions and tryout the calm app. :D
