    Hey guys!
So I've been rebooting for just about a month starting today, and things have been getting better in my life. I've noticed a range of benefits including more discipline, self-control, clearer skin, more energy as well as an improved perception of the opposite sex. Unfortunately though, I MO'd today after a month-long streak without porn. I understand failure happens very often, and considering this is my first real attempt at rebooting I shouldn't be too angry at myself whatsoever. But my main problem is that I think I need to find a stronger source of motivation for stopping MO altogether, because I've noticed that many people quit masturbation altogether with their porn habit because it has so many benefits. My original source of motivation was to get back to my factory settings, quit porn, and to put an end to a lot of sexually intrusive thoughts I was having. I still have these as my main goals, but maybe I need something that has me more emotionally driven or maybe I don't and I should just keep abstaining from MO until I can understand more of what it's like and what benefits come from it. What do you guys think?

  2. Hi bro,

What I've learned is that nofap really is an emotional process, whether we think it is or not. It's very much about our emotions.

We have to ask ourselves all on an individual basis what is driving us all to use PMO as an emotional outlet. Once I allow myself to literally feel the underlying root cause as to why I use it, it helps pin point where the actual craving comes from, and then I can simply allow myself to release that underlying emotion.

So for example, many men use PMO as a stress relief, or because they feel lonely. So the idea is to just allow your body to feel that intense feeling of loneliness. Just sit there and let your body feel and experience that emotion. As you do, the emotion will literally release and exit your body. There, the causal emotion is dealt with, which means, the intense craving to PMO goes as well.

I have been doing emotional processing since January and it has changed my life. I've never been an actual PMO addict, but I still wanted to find the reasons as to why, every now again, I was using PMO as a way to release.

The craving for PMO has left me, and all that's left now is a huge desire to just go out there and make love to real women.
