Hi, I am here to ask. Today I got really stressed out and anxious. I suffer from anxiety disorder and taking meds. I had to solve something about my future job and I got this unpleasent chest feeling and anxiety. This is always a trigger for my to relapse. I opened porn sites and browse through some pages, but nothing cought my interest (it didnt even make me get hard) so I shut it down. Strange because I feel like in flatline phase, It has been a month without watching porn till now , porn had become boring to me so I decided to quit it completely because it doesnt give me anything (only takes). Anyway I wanted to asked. Does any stressful situation acts like a trigger to you? How do you cope with compulsive behavor to watch porn, when you get stressed?

  2. It usually is but I think I'm in some kind of flatline at the moment so the urges aren't really there. I must be because I don't feel the greatest at the moment and this would usually cause me to relapse. At the moment, though, I feel like porn is part of the stuff that makes me anxious. When I feel like the world is against me, like this, porn is part of the world that hates me so I don't want to watch it. Maybe you should think about that. Porn is your enemy when you are stressed. Porn will make you even more stressed in the long run.

Well I am aware of it that I wasn't feeling that urge to masturbate like when you're horny. I guess it is much more psychological habbit, like connection of feeling relaxed through the orgasm, and that is what it makes compulsive. Not the need od masturbation. Just like any other addiction, people try to find relieve from this kind of behavior.

  4. porn don't make your anxiety goes away, but in fact give you more anxiety and depression. Always remember this
