    Hey what's up NOFAPPers,

    My name is Boris. For as long as I can remember (since Junior High), masturbating to porn has been one of my worst habits. I can honestly say that it's hard to go a day without opening up Pornhub and jerking off once, sometimes even 2-3 times/day. I notice that my triggers are usually when I feel really stressed from work, getting rejected after going out to a bar/club and seeing cute girls with skimpy outfits.

    Over the past 2-3 years, I have dove deep into the self-development and pickup community. I've completed a 30-day pickup challenge with a wing. I've experienced a moderate level of success with women. I've stuck to meditating 5-7 times/week. I've even gone on a 10-day Vipassana Meditation retreat and did a 3-day retreat this July.

    Despite these successes, I've NEVER been able to rid myself of masturbation and porn. Many nights I find it hard to sleep without scrolling through my favorite categories on Pornhub and imagining me being with these hotties.

    I hope this community will help keep me accountable for completing this challenge and overcoming those days when I feel like giving up.

    Thanks Septimus. I just looked at your thread about aiming for success and wrote down an entire outline for ensuring that I stick it all the way through. Just curious would you recommend a 30-day challenge or the whole 90 days?

    I'm glad I could help.

    As far as 30 days or 90, it depends. For me, I was giving up porn and masturbation forever, not just for a set period of time; so I actually set smaller goals, because even 30 days seemed so intimidating. I figured that the "reset" would come as long as I stayed on track, and I found that to be true. (Alas, I slid back, and now I'm doing it again.)

    If you're asking if the system is "reset" in 30 days, I would say no, it requires at least 90.

    I don't know that you need to worry about 30 days vs 60 days vs 90 days. Just think about today. Me, I think about TOMORROW a lot. I like to wake up in the morning and know how good it feels to have not PMO'd the day before. The less we worry about achieving the numbers game, the less pressure in the long run. It's more about the QUALITY of your life than the QUANTITY of days. But of course, they go hand in hand. I'd rather see someone with a good quality of life and 1 day at a time, than a not as good life with 10,0000 days. :}

    Good point Jeff. Maybe I'm subconsciously putting my ego into this 30, 60, 90 day challenge rather than focusing on how I feel TODAY. Reminds me of a quote: "It's not the years in your life that count, but the life in those years."

    *Update*

    So I sorta ended my NoFAP streak last Tuesday on Halloween. Specifically the masturbation part. I went on a Tinder date with this 30-year old Irish hottie with big boobies. She was turned on the entire time and ended up giving me head in her car at the end of the night. I didn't orgasm but that kinda counts as masturbation.

    Today I was feeling super horny and decided to surf Backpages for a chick who was down. I've never used these services but felt adventurous and ended up meeting her. After only a few thrusts, I came inside my condom. This has never happened in the past with girls I've been with.

    On one side, I feel more energetic, catch girls looking at me, less social anxiety, etc. But the other hand, I last way shorter in bed.

    Maybe I will plan out 1 day every week to masturbate just so I can maintain my sexual stamina.

    Does anyone have a similar experience?

    Hello again Zen! I notice I last less time in bed too now but I kind of love it! It's more natural and I think that over time we will last longer and longer. I have a girlfriend though and she knows that it's for the best and I still have great moves! Anyway, maybe porn once a week is a great start, but I would say don't do anything crazy!
