Hello Fapstrounats, some of you know me already from a old thread. But I made this one to make a fresh start and the other one is kind of confusing. NoFap community, I thank you all for helping me and educating me about dopamine etc. I don't know if it's sad that I fapped time to time since I was 7-8 years old but yeah. I did it from time to time. And then as I grew up it went from time to time into almost everyday. Now I'm 16 years old and I did it kind of everyday, even tho I tried to fight the urge I did it. Then I discovered NoFap, joined it and it got better.

First of all, I got educated about what PMO can do to you. The PMO tracker was kind of my challange. I got motivated and I wanted to beat it badly. Sadly, I relapsed sometimes as today.
But yesterday my record was 6 days and 7 hours. It may seem small but It's a progress at least.
And I know that I can reach 15 or even 30 days without PMO but it's going to be effin' hard.
There's where you guys and I need to get stronger then ever before. Me, you and everyone can beat it but we must want it badly enough. Just get your mind off to something else. It's not WORTH it.

A big factor in beating it is working out. For me it is, I went to the gym this week, 3 days and I got tired and since I'm serious about gaining muscles I always thought about how to gain, I researched and stuff and I got into something else and I forgot about fapping. A big big factor in beating it is the gym. It doesn't have to be lifting weights, you can frickin' run or do crunches or push-ups. Just exercise!!!

Do not make excuses to PMO, never. And I know how hard it can be but never do that because after you've just PMO'd you'll regret it. We can fight it, we can beat it, we can climb out of hell, one inch at a time. We can do it.

I know this isn't the Fap area thing but this works too. Hope this motivates you, it did for me. Both for not fapping and for the gym. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mgmVOuLgFB0

PS: This is a new thread so I'll post my progress here.

Hey man, you got educated about the PMO tracker. It helped motivate you. That's what you need....education and motivation. It helps.

As far as education, have you watched Gary Wilson's videos? He talks about the direct effect and actual biological change your brain takes. His videos scared me crapless. I'm mean literally it was like I was outside myself looking down at me. Definitely taught me something. TRIGGERS are huge. Triggers can cause a quick jolt of dopamine. This will cause you to relapse. Learn about triggers, how to identify them, and how to avoid them. It's a cycle. Once you break it, you will make it. Good luck friend

    WRA.

Here is a good one. He's in depth and know his stuff. Check out the "suggested videos" under Gary's. Man, I'm serious when I say "knowledge is power". If you understand this crap, you WILL defeat it

Hey guys, quick post, haven't been posting like a week or so. It's going freaking great, haven't fap in almost 13 days and It feels good! But the thing is IT FEELS AGES!!!! Holy SHIT. I'm telling you, it feels ageeees, like it was months since I fapped... Kind of sad actually but yeah.. I'm going to beat 15 days and I've been working out and such. So far so good. Haven't tought about the porn thing too much but sometimes it comes and I watched asses too.. In my school lol. Sometimes I get stuck watching them.. Is it because of my Non fapping spree? Dopamine and such?.. Cheers

I'm back here's the story. On the 14th day I relapsed after but I'm quite happy anyway. More than a week I didn't think about porn or something but in school, I see asses only negative thing hah. But I went from only being able to hold my self for 3 days to 14 days, 2 frickin weeks. Huge progress and now I'm going to make it to 30 days. Only irritating this is that if I didn't PMO it feels ages. Like I haven't done it in months. Well, baby steps. GUYS, please workout or do find a hobby that makes you happy so that you wont think about PMO or some shit. Just do it! I'll update later.

Hi Rob, I have read this thread entirely and I am impressed with your positive attitude. A lot of guys get here not really knowing what they want. I like the fact you not only know you want to break your PMO cycle, but you have declared you will break it. That takes guts.

I wanted to wish you luck. What I know about quitting porn is here:

    http://www.nofap.org/forum/showthread.php?2402-Get-educated-get-tools-and-learn-to-love-withdrawals

First page, first link, is Gary Wilson discussing the science of porn addiction. Once I saw it I quit porn almost immediately. Tomorrow I will be 7 months PMO/porn/MO free. It no longer gnaws at me like it did in the beginning. A lot of guys say 30-60 days out they hit the tipping point, and they quit struggling with dopamine withdrawals. That was my experience, at least after I got educated and heard the word "dopamine" for the first time.

Good luck on your journey. And, keep posting. Reading posts and replying are part of my recovery, so thanks for helping.

    Peace.

Hey there William! Thanks a lot man, glad to hear that from you. My PMO has been painful sorta say. I .. sadly.. PMO'd today and I fought back for seconds but I gave up. And typical me, I drown in guiltiness and feeling bad for doing it. I'll look at the Gary Wilson video in a moment. And good luck to you too, I believe in you and I know you can break it, 7 months is awesome man!! Keep GOING! Thank you for your posts and to all others too! Whenever I read them I still believe in hope and that I can beat it, we can beat it.

Good luck on your journey William. :D

Quick post here, basically when I was PMO free for 14 days I stayed over at my sister place and I never wanted to PMO there and it was a struggle. But I was working out and just keeping myself busy and It went actually smooth for 1 week and then the coming days it was a bit harder and eventually I PMO'd but.. Yeah.
Btw, I know a lot of you guys have girlfriends and used as my motivation, doing it for her but it has weakened so.. That dosen't work so much but I still have that in my mind tho. The PMO counter is a challenge for me and I like it and whenever I read posts it motivates me but anyway. Going to bed and I'll be watching the video and sleep. Peace out!

Hello readers! I've made it to 1 day and 5 hours. Not much actually but it's night for me and the little urges to watch porn is coming back but.. I don't wanna but somehow I want to! Well. I made it to 2 weeks without PMO and I can make it further if I have the will but sometimes I relapse. Did it before.. Well.
I'm out! and good luck to you all trying to quit it and believe my words, IT'S WORTH IT!

    Peace!
