  1. Mmmmh no don't think so sorry. I am, and that is very true, weaker than many human beings. But it's not the fact that I'm a woman that makes me weaker. It's me. Myself. It wouldn't change anything if I was a man regarding this. I'd still be weak because of my personality. It has nothing to do for me with the fact that men and women are different.

  2. You make me want to cry. For myself and for humanity. Someone goes on.

Sorry for that, but I don't understand what I'm doing wrong, but since you already closed the debate, we cannot go further. I've clearly said many times that I do respect everybody, and if you want to live your life as a boy, even if you're a girl. Go ahead. It's not my business. If you want to pray to Jesus Christ, go ahead. It's not my business. If you want to have a relationship with a girl, go ahead. It's not my business.

And you keep saying that I'm disrespectful, you say that I make you want to cry. In my opinion you're coming off as very unstable and it's maybe more than good that we quit right here. Because I've felt like talking to a deaf here during our conversation, you've not understood a single word I've told you. You got everything wrong, from the very beginning.

Life's full of misfortune. Let's move on.

And thank you, I wish that you never relapse and that you'll live a fulfilling life. Good luck.

  6. Yes me too! I'm weaker physically than some people. I'm stronger than other. How are gender and sex involved? It's not because I'm a woman that I get my ass kicked by my brother. It's because he does pushups and pullups more than me.

But then why are men and women separated in sports? Why don't men fight women in MMA? I can't believe you can't see how gender and sex are involved. Men are stronger because we have, excuse my candidness, testicles. We produce testosterone, we have more muscle mass than women. Men ARE stronger than women, naturally. Nothing personal.

  8. I honestly am abashed by how we don't understand each other. Forget what I said, I would really like to continue the debate. It would be sad if we quit on such animosity.

So let's try to gather the subjects. Here is what I have understood from you. Please, if something is wrong, correct it - we may just have misunderstood each other.

    1) Transsexuals. You say that you don't think it's natural, that it's a mental disease for you, but at the same time you don't judge them. Fair enough.

    2) You don't want women to go to war and you'd rather see men dying in war than women because you value women highly.

    3) You think that feminism is crap, you agree that there is a difference between men and women (femininity and masculinity), and you believe that women physically are weaker than me, but they have other qualities that men don't have that make them just as valuable than men.

    4) You respect anyone, of any religion, sex and gender.

    5) You say that I come out as very unstable, and you feel that I'm irrational.

    6) You agreed that you are talking about generalities.

So far here is what we agree on:
    Part of 3); 4); 6). I can't talk about 5) - I'm too myself to be able to judge.

Do you agree with this? Is there something you'd like to add or clarify?

  9. I'm trying hard to answer this humbly. I agree. But for some reasons it annoys me. Perhaps because I'm on the side that is weaker? Perhaps is it pride? God only knows, but if it the case, I sincerely apologize and regret and will try not to act as such now. What I believe, though, is that it shouldn't be an excuse not to let women enter such competition with male because of their gender, if they are willing. Because in this case, what would be the problem for male? They know they are stronger. It would just be a question of rights.

It's a small thing that might not seem important at all but for me it's the kind of stuff that changes everything.

In anyway I feel extremely lucky to be a woman in my country and social class right now.

PS: for some reasons it's the first time I do feel like a minority in this forum. Don't know why.

    1) Transsexualism is classified as a mental disease/disorder. I agree on that. Just like I agree that schizophrenia is a mental disease. Does not mean that I judge persons suffering by these conditions, humans are not their disease/disorder. I'm not that shallow.

    2) No, I don't value women higher than men or vice versa. I believe that women can't handle war, men can't either obviously, but a war would be far more destructive for a woman than to a woman. Also, the physical differences. Men are more physically fit for war than women by nature.

    3) Physical strength does not determine human value for me. I don't know what you got that from. Men are physically stronger than women, I don't understand how you can deny it. It's obvious. literally.

    4) Correct

    5) Yes you do because you put words in my mouth and does not read what I say sometimes.

    6) Yes, there will always be exceptions. I've never denied that. But exceptions does not represent the group as much as the majority of the group. Same with democracy. The president and the government represents the majority, but there will still be minorities that are unsatisfied.

Wow what an intelligent and heartfelt answer. I completely understand where you are coming from Anne-Dauphine. You are very intelligent, despite you have said in previous comments :D. Always remember that. And yes you do have a very fine point. One to which I do not have an answer hehe.

Because you're irrational, you base your opinions on your personal feelings and emotions.

Let a woman into a MMA cage versus a man? It could result in serious injuries. Women and men should not fight against each other in combat sports, that is just insanity.

And why shall women and men compete in same class when it's proven over and over again, in almost every sport that men are superior in athletic performance? Sorry, I know this hurts, but these are facts.

  13. 1) If this is true, I apologize because I simply didn't knew it was such a thing. Would you please be kind enough to give a source? I would love to know more about it. I understand better how you can say that you don't judge at the same time, thanks.

    2) Perhaps may I add that it what I understood - again correct me if I'm wrong - is that the subject of our disagreement is a misunderstanding; I am talking about all abilities, mental and physical, that makes a person ready for war, when you talk only about physical abilities. If you disagree then it's another point to talk about.

    3) There still is something that I definitely do not agree on but it is not the subject of the debate - the point is that now I understand what you meant. I do not deny it. It's true. It just doesn't feel right, in the cosmic sense, for me. For reasons I can't explain, sorry.

    5) I try my best, I swear.

    6) Again I do not deny at all but it doesn't feel that it's the best way to think about it for me.

  14. If that may help you I had several people ask me if I was bipolar and borderline. I don't know if it's related. Haven't been diagnosed as such though. For now. But I don't feel like I'm sick.

If the women are fully consenting? Then I don't see any insanity. Just entertainment. Again, why not? Everyone knows men are stronger. It's important on the paper. You may think it is useless. Precisely, as a woman, I don't think it is. I am not of the opinion that men and women are the same and genderless. I am for more fair rights.

I'm sorry but it's must be possible to generalize, otherwise it would be very, very hard to have a debate with anybody. Because then we must get into every individual case, and that's an impossibility when you discuss such big subjects like we do now.

I go to bed now. Bye.

Fair rights, sure. But to throw a woman into a MMA cage with a man on roids, that would be inhumane.

    Good night!

Well Anne. I was trying to sleep but I quickly realized it would be an impossibility when I finally went to bed, I must say this first.

It's terribly heartbreaking to see your hm, how shall I describe it (sometimes I can feel my english being deficient) but it's sad to see that you're not happy with being somewhat "inferior" or I mean, I cannot really put myself into your position, but it must be hard to be physical weaker, or to be the second sex. I don't mean that women are second sex but maybe in our world you see it as such? And you've a hard time being comfortable with it. Anyway I'm sorry if I've offended you in some way, I kind of, sometimes am little aggressive in discussions.

But maybe it's a lesson? That we all shall learn that we have limits, our sex limits us, I don't know? Life is painful, life is no easy task, I'm sure you agree.

We've so different ideas, you're much more hm, how shall I describe it again, you believe that we can go around our nature so much. I believe that we shall live strictly naturally, that we shall avoid any unnecessary sex, I can tell you a lot about this tomorrow if you want to hear. I believe that in order to live in true happiness, peace and harmony, one must obey to some natural laws, I really believe that. And I know that my beliefs might hurt people, it might not be compatible with their beliefs or principles, but that's what I believe! And I believe strongly in it. I believe that our lack of understanding our own nature has caused many people a lot of harm. Mental disorders for example, depression and anxiety. So many people has suffered completely in vain. However, I'm sure that you believe in what you believe in because you think that would be the best for us. And it's same with me, you might think I'm being a boring conservative, or that I'm judging, and that I'm 300 years behind, but I have been where you are. I havent been like this all my life, these are ideas that has grown inside of me, for several years.

I hope you are not angry, and remember, don't forget this: I don't think that I've a higher value than you, or that you should not be able to have a relationship with a girl if you wanted to. And if you're transsexual, I still respect you. Remember this. I hope you also find some peace in yourself, that you somehow can accept the limits of your own sex. It can be more than painful to be a man, all the pressure. But I think it's painful to be a human being. We're too complicated, we're animal instincts and basic drives combined with a very intelligent brain, capable of remarkable imagination.

    Good night again!

Really? That's your comeback? That's really fucking offensive, don't you think? Ad-hom/strawman hybrid if I've ever seen one. If you're going to bother responding to me, knock off the immature bullshit and put your penis back in your pants. I'm not interested in getting into a sword-fighting contest, here, and I'm not particularly keen on dishonorable and ignoble comments. VERY poor form.

Seriously. What the hell is with some people around here? It's like, you make a statement counter to their deeply-seated personal beliefs and they turn into little children. Is it too much to ask for some damned maturity? Is it?

Your position on women (garnering from what I've read thus far - and you do have a tendency to ramble) is rather abhorrent. I understand the differences and qualities of men versus women more than most, but your approach is utter nonsense. The idea that women are incapable of being "handled" the same way men are is crap - and I'm not talking about physically.

While I'm on that topic, where in the nine hells did you get the idea from anyone that women should be in combat? Suddenly, half of your whole argument centers around how women shouldn't be having fisticuffs with grown men or sent to shoot terrorists - although it would seem that they're damned good at it. That's more strawman used to build up your argument.

I take exception to your heavy-handed approach, more than anything. Your attitude is very domineering and imposing, and the level of insensitivity in your methods is downright immature - obviously so. For example, you mention that men don't shout at women like they do at other men - as if that's some sort of normal behavior. You've already shown in the OP that your idea of getting someone over a hump in life is kicking them in the gonads until they correct themselves; I have little difficulty rationalizing that your approach in general is very brutish and cold.

Treating women as if they're a different species - because that's what you're doing here, in spirit if not in word - is significantly missing the point. You can't put people in boxes, because by doing that, you are limiting and cutting down the identity of the woman - instead of doing your job and lifting them up and encouraging them. Chauvinism is about telling women what they can't do and about "putting them in their place"; manliness is about recognizing their worth and helping them succeed at whatever they put their hand to.

"But, Weiland, what if women want to be soldiers and shoot guns and kill people?" Don't start with me, either, about some sort of trumped up nonsense about women in combat, or about men-on-women MMA fights, or about upper body mass. There's no epidemic of women trying to fill testosterone-driven roles and there never will be. Sure, modern feminism has tried to eliminate the "man-factor" from the equation, and the anonymity of the internet will allow anyone to make any boast or claim they want (such as a woman claiming to be able to "take on any man"), but for the most part, women aren't stupid and they don't need you, Captain Macho, to tell them how to be a woman. They get that part already. Even the ones that flee from it in their youth tend to come back to it when they mature.

Which is what you need to do right now, mature. Because all I've seen you do is talk bout beating up on the men in your life that stumble and label women because, apparently, it's your God-ordained position to establish their limits - you know, so they know.

Makes me sick, really. Your whole approach. I'm really concerned for your wife and children, if you ever have any. If I were a father, I certainly wouldn't want you around my daughters, and I would never entrust my sons under your mentorship.
