I wonder if nudity on movies can have negative impact on my addiction and if it has the same consequences as watching porn and viewing nude pictures(I watched john wick 2 yesterday and it had a nude scene where a girl underssed but neither vagina, boobs etc where shown only her back). Also should this count as reset?

No masturbation actions were made during the scene

Of course not, It's hardly avoid the nudity in these days of social media. If you see a movie scene like this just try to not fantasize just enjoy the movie and let it go. You didn't chase that kind of scenes if you would then I would reset a counter. Hopefully it's not triggered you.
All in all I wouldn't reset a count.

movies also has ruined my PMO journey lots of time. movies is addictive . there is not point in watching movies mindlessly. sometimes we watch movie , to get rid of boredom, but disgusting quality movies make it more worse for us. hollywood and bollywood movies are extreme disgusting quality movies . people who watch this movies mindlessly or addictated to this kind of movies are sure to get in trouble. mainly because of this movies, woman gets objectified. movies shows woman as item or object every time. because of this kind of disgusted movies , violence against woman, child increases . if u know any police man personally , ask him , whether does he think , movies cause increase in violicen . he always says yes.

Firstly, John Wick 2 was a banger of a movie.

The scene you are referring to was pretty tame compared to movie standards these days. It was there for gratuitous value and served of no real use to the plot.

The way I see it, as long as you did not seek out to watch this movie with the sole intention of viewing a sex scene, then it does no way count as any kind of setback.

As pointed out above, triggers are everywhere, and unless you want to become a hermit, you're going to be confronted with scenes of nudity in your daily life through the media and just by being out in public, especially in the summer months.

As long as you're not actively seeking out artificial arousal, all is well.

    Keep on fighting my friend!

Movies & video games do not have any influence on a person's desire to inflict harm upon women and children, unless they are already mentally disturbed prior to watching/playing said movie or game.

Women, and men have been objectified since the beginning of time. It's what drives our most basic instincts to interact with the opposite sex and eventually reproduce.

Movies objectify attractive people because it drives sales. That's the basic explanation. The type of movie dictates what sex/type of person will be objectified. Fifty Shades objectifies Jamie Dornan because he's a classically handsome, well built, seductive man who appeals to the movies target audience; women. Dakota Johnson is relatively "plain" in comparison because the producers have no desire to entice a male audience.

However if you look at movies such as John Wick 2, or xXx 3, to give recent examples, the female cast is very much aimed at appealing to men. The women are all provocatively dressed throughout the movies in order to hold our attention for as long as possible. It's all about making the movies as "manly" as possible. Guns, explosions, swearing, cliché "hot" women with cleavage on show, wearing the tightest clothing possible.

It's all to do with money, not violence. In no way does Hollywood infer that violence against women and children is okay. They might churn out some absolute garbage, but they're not psychopaths.

  7. Actually.....and this is at OP.....during the reboot stage, ALL of it must be avoided. Once that highly complicated computer we call the brain has been rebooted, this stuff is not so problematic. But, during the reboot, avoid it completely. After the reboot, figure out what is problematic for you, and what is OK. Get clean first, then figure out what triggers you. But most important, get clean first. Don't fuck around with the reboot. Do it hard mode. No other way to do it.

It depends on what you classify as porn. To me, nudity in itself is not porn. I see myself nude, it's nothin'. It's common to see women in movies with their breasts and "tail" hangin' all out. Some movies even have quasi-sex scenes. That wouldn't turn me on.

Now, if you could actually see some penetration, that's a different story...(That would be porn). A twerking video turns some guys on so much, that it constitutes as porn for them. If they started a Nofap streak, it would be wise if they avoid twerking vids in addition to the usual stuff.

My point is, if those scenes don't give you the same sexual gratification as porn, then there's no need to avoid them. However, if they constantly induce sexual thoughts or fantasy, then.....you get the point.

Honest to god, I don't watch movies unless I'm with a friend now. They consume my time and leave me feeling week mentally & emotionally. Not to mention the random triggers that are in a every movie. Ever heard of the term sex sells? I watch animated shows to limit my time and its not real so for the me the triggers are practically non-existent. Family Guy, American Dad, Attack On Titan, Rick & Morty and Dragon Ball Z are my go to's.

Unless it's romance, I generally avoid movies or tv. On the contrary though, I mostly only watch anime and read manga. There is some sexually suggestive content in some series, but it's a frickin cartoon; and it's mostly for comedic purposes.

Did you say "Shingeki No Kyojin"!? Attack On Titans is totally awesome. The new season is so epic!

I used to watch DBZ as a kid, but lost interest throughout the years. Anime really helped me during my "infancy stage" of Nofap.

RIGHT?! I keep telling myself to wait until the whole season is out but each episode is SO good and leaves me hanging so I have to watch every week haha. What do you mean by "infancy stage"? My brothers were super into DBZ as kids but my childhood anime was Bleach. Still my favorite to this day

By infancy, I mean the beginning of Nofap. That period where you Google every single subtle Nofap related change.

My youngest brother was into Bleach. I watched it up to ep. 12 or so. It was honestly starting to get good. I don't know why I didn't finish.

I have a question i saw a movie called dances with wolves and it had a sex scene in it. it just showed a women getting undressed in front of a man and they start to have sex. no penetration is shown but you could still see some sexual activity going on there. I got turned on but didn't jerk off. does this still count as a relapse i hope not because I'm at day 8.

I once relapsed and lost 200 days due to a movie with sex scenes in it.

Just because you don't go on pornhub doesn't mean that you aren't watching porn. If a movie has sex scenes in it then that's porn.

Pornography = artificially sexually arousing material. Audio, literature and pictures. If it's on a computer or TV screen and it shows sexuality then it's porn.
