Methods of Getting Healthy Dopamine Levels without Using Drugs or Lust

    I’ve attempted NoFap multiple times throughout the year and the furthest I’ve gotten was 2 weeks. I know...pathetic right? Anyways, I’m 18 years old and I’ve been channeling this extra energy into weightlifting and exercise. While those are good for relieving sexual energy, I’ve found it difficult to feel the rush of dopamine and stress relief that masturbation once gave me. This has led me to using drugs, alcohol, and nicotine severely more often to compensate. As a result, I’ve relapsed. I was wondering what are some healthy, daily habits I can impliment that’ll give me the dopamine I crave?

    meditation, cold showers, walking, Wim Hof Breathing, music/art/creativity, talking to strangers and getting out of the social bubble and comfort zone.

    I appreciate the advice. I used to meditate but didn’t have much luck. Recommend any meditation videos, playlist, guides? Thanks again

    I do cold showers/breathing before hand to still the mind
