Lost keys.. Panic!

Keep it somewhere safe and remember the place.
I usually keep it in my pocket when I'm out.

 

I'm a scatterbrain.

Whenever I space off, I find things in the weirdest places. Sometimes I put my phone in the fridge, my rucksack hanging in the closet, or my keys/wallet in the WC... I even panic a bit when I realize I don't have my phone, while I'm on my phone...

 

What is worse... Lost keys or lost phone?

I put them on the same key holder by the door every time I come home

 

With my keys I can get into my house.
Or leave my house without worrying about people taking my stuff.

My phone? Well I'd be a few hundred quid down but I can alway wipe it remotely and restore to a new one.

 

I have a disorder called..... Keyloser....I basically lose keys all the time....I did it so often that I no longer worry about it.

 

I always put my keys on top of my refrigerator. The only time I panic about losing things is in my car when I'm driving and all of a sudden something slides out of my pocket and falls in between the center console and the seat.

 

Omg! Not only did I lose my keys recently, i lost my CLIENT keys. Like an entire ring of 8 or so keys that open my clients houses.

Thankfully they were found, but not until after I contacted all of my clients to tell them I lost their key and needed a new one, which means I had to contact them all again to say never mind. -.-

 

I always keep a backup set around. If it's my house keys and I can't find the originals then I'll go to a hardware store and buy a new door handle and have another spare made.

 

I make doppelgangers. I try to keep my cars keys separated(too expensive to make another one).

 

Worst is losing yourself

 

I always make copies of all my keys and keep them in my junk drawer where I know they will always be safe.

 

I remember years ago my younger brother would put our house keys under the Welcome mat outside our door..

Persoanlly, I've lost my keys a lot of times but I’m much worst when it comes to losing my chapstick smh lol

 

I'm pretty good about not losing stuff these days, but one thing I'm glad about is I drive an old beater and one of the doors doesn't lock. I literally can't lock my keys in my car. The only problem will be when I get a new car.
