OK guys, I was reading this and I thought the following:

    1. Guys who give up on NoFap (vast majority I assume), do you think they log in to say good bye, or to report that NoFap doesn't work, and superpowers are all made up stories, or to criticize who's on NoFap? No. Because they are feeling guilty for they fapped when they promised they wouldn't.
    2. On the other side, guys who gather the will power to complete a reboot of 90 days, I presume the vast majority, if not all of them, post on the appropriate section about their results. Some say super powers are not that great, others get super excited thinking they are superman.
Do you see the pattern? It's the fallacy of the survival. People who report success are doing so because they feel proud of themselves. There's no control of who quits, and most leave silently, making us believe that NoFap gives superpowers.

tl;dr: NoFap doesn't work and we are deluded.

They dont belive in superpowers because they dont want belive in it. I belive in no fapp and no porn and I belive in ALL benefits.

30 days is great achievment but dont think single second you can need to be reward for it in a way we all know.

After exactly 377 days of NoFap - you can levitate 2.75 inches off the ground for 15 milliseconds.

The above statement may not be true.

Let's be clear here. Abstaining from what gives quick pleasure is an excellent way to strengthen the impulse control part of the brain. NoFap is just one form of strengthening impulse control, but it is a particularly potent one, because after the urge to survive, the urge to reproduce is our next strongest drive.

If you think that you're going to get clairvoyant and X-ray vision with nofap, you're thinking of the wrong superpowers. What you will get is brain healthy. If everyone has brains that are pathological in one way or another, and the social standards for what is possible in life are very low, then someone who shakes off that pathology will by comparison seem like a super being. The truth is they are simply starting to heal their brain. As simple as that.

I will mention something. Back in the day when I went for more than a year without fapping, I was able to focus on gym and socializing regularly. Compared to your standard PMO day routine, that was a super powered life. I also notice that when I put in a long spell of nofap, my interest in creative pursuits automatically increase, and my visualization skills improve. Also super powers compared to what we experience when hooked on PMO.

    Just my 2.75 cents. Cheers!

The 30 day target is not enough for me. I am still having withdrawal symptoms. For example, I have started having chest butterflies that I have never had before. Now I am convinced that these are a direct consequence of the journey I am on. Therefore I will travel on towards the 90 day reboot. But I might continue to infinity. The peak is beckoning me...

thank for sharing your views, specially @anthrope

more 7 hours and this will be officially my longest streak.

Let me put this clear: I'm not giving up after 30 days, I'm going to do a full reboot on hard mode, 90 days, and maybe more. I'm with @Dziki007, the energy I'm having these last days in uncomparable, I don't want to go back to be the old loser.

Can't reach reddit right now as servers are busy, but I think it's important to distinguish between having the possibility and potential of "super powers" because of more energy, less mental fog than NF delivering those powers. I could probably read the same streak hanging out on this forum 24/7 but do no self improvement and not use my energy in any other way, which would not result in any kind of positive change. Speaking of which I've been on here a bit too long now even if it is the weekend..
