    It is fake.
    It is emotionless.
It is made by greedy people.
It is for vinginal losers without self-respect (I am a virginal loser without self-respect but I don't watch pornography).
    It is cheap entertainment.

  4. Leaves a person lonely, depressed, paranoid, poor social skills, scared of interactions with people - especially women, and constantly frustrated.

In addition, it can lead to illegal activities such as CP, prostitution, and even committing sexual assault.

The list of destructive things that P brings is endless. Acknowledging the damage of PMO is useful and necessary especially at the beginning of noPMO journeys.

Instead of focusing only on the negative things that PMO causes, perhaps also think about the positive things that noPMO brings. That list is also endless. When we see very positive potential benefits and potential rewards, it often helps motivate us to work more diligently and with greater strength to attain the benefits and rewards.

One day at a time is how we all succeed.

    Desensitisation

It can desensitise you to the point your not turned on enough or at all by a real woman and can't get or maintain an erection good enough for sexual intercourse. Continued use, particularly heavy use can lead to you needing more extreme and weird content.

    Sexual conditioning

If your not having real sexual experiences with real women and only getting your sexual experience from porn then your brain won't send the sexual cues when your with a real woman, but it will send the sexual cues when you open your computer and click on a porn site. Your brain will think masturbating to porn is real sex, and real sex with a woman will be alien to your brain, there for it won't send the sexual cues right before sex with a woman. It's all a learned behaviour. If your only masturbating to porn for years and not having real sex then your heavily wiring the circuits in your brain to porn, and there is no circuits wired to real sex. You need to retrain your brain, and the best way to do this is completely avoid activating those porn pathways in your brain and rewire with real women.

    Mental health problems

Porn is proven to raise dopamine in the brain as high as cocaine, and with high speed internet your constantly getting never ending amounts of dopamine. Do you not think this could cause mental health problems? It's no wonder heavy PMO users have concentration problems, fatigue, brain fog, depression, anxiety issues and more.

Also if you're addicted to porn and have brain changes caused by porn, then you will highly likely experience withdrawal symptoms when you stop using it, and this will worsen mental health.

    Addiction

Dopamine is a wanting and seeking neurotransmitter, a neurotransmitter that heavily motivates us to go after things. In mammals and when humans were more animalistic this was a very beneficial mechanism, it motivated us to seek after natural rewards, good food, good sex ext. It's a learning behaviour, and it reminds our brain what is rewarding, so it raises the dopamine in our brain to do this again, because it is seen as rewarding and good for our survival.

Now a days there are things called super normal stimulus, junk food, video games, alcohol, drugs, porn, but particularly high speed internet porn. These things raise the dopamine higher in our brain than the natural rewards. So the brain just thinks it's doing it's job, and raises the dopamine extremely high in our brain to go seek after these things, because they're seen as extremely rewarding. The problem is they're not rewarding, but actually very damaging. Continued use of super normal stimulus causes desensitisation, and more healthy natural rewards become boring, because the healthy natural rewards can't compete with the level of dopamine that is being raised for the super normal stimulus.
