    Hello everyone,

I'm 25 years old and I think I use too much porn. I fear what it does to my brain. I'm not into hardcore stuff, and often cruise instagram to get off. However, I think the constant looking at new babes changes how I see girls I meet in real life, and makes me too concerned with their physical attributes.

To start with, I want to abstain from porn and masturbation for a month, until September 11th (I started a few days ago). I then hope to extend it.

Because of my browsing habit, I will consider Instagram or certain Reddit forums as off-limits, in addition to hardcore porn, of course. I'm single but have a somewhat active sex life. I want to stay confident about my ability to be with girls, so if the opportunity to have partnered sex arises, I will consider it OK to enjoy it.

I'm really grateful for this community, where I can get anonymous support and advice. Let's do this!

Thanks, man. I think posting here will make it more real to me, rather than just something I came up with while I showered...

Welcome to NoFap where you are amongst friends who are here to encourage you and sometimes challenge you but not judge you.

The enemy is here to steal, kill and destroy. What are your current strategies for combating the enemy called PMO?

Hey, thanks man. Already one week in, yay. I'm going to
    - spend less time in front of the computer
    - do planks or pushups when the urge comes
    - meditate (I've been meditating irregularly for a long time)
    - hopefully have an AP
    - be determined af
