Thanks @novibe Then I will suggest (when the time is right) that we try it (when the time is right).

Touch is not my LL but I love karezza. My husband doesn't over do the touch I suppose, but there is lingering and enjoying. I highly recommend you and your wife try @anewhope :)

I read the cupid book and thought it was a great idea - I talked my wife into it and we tried it for a few months. I really enjoyed it - I would usually go a week or two without O. My sex drive was through the roof - I couldn't keep my hands off her and wanted to have sex twice a day. I was getting really high during sex and I felt some incredible bonding to her.

With another woman, it might've worked out - but my wife was not interested in sex that frequently. She liked the attention for a while - but eventually it was too much. She started doing things that she knew would make me O. She was O'ing the whole time, so I don't think she was really experiencing the same kind of bonding benefits I was. Eventually I just gave up due to lack of interest, and her evident desire that I O every time.

I still think it's a great idea when executed properly - I would encourage people to try it.

I have no idea what Karezza is, but I suspect I would like it, since my top two love languages are physical touch and physical touch.

There's a spectrum - but the essence of it is sex without orgasm - for one or both partners. It's not like other forms of non-orgasm sex though - where you just go for it - like tantra - where I think you try and like channel that frustrated energy or something. In karezza your supposed to avoid getting too "hot". Your supposed to move slowly, touch a lot, make eye contact, not do things that stimulate you visually or otherwise.

The purpose is to stimulate oxytocin and bonding instead of dopamine and the whole using sex like a drug thing.

A woman named Marnia Robinson wrote a book called "cupids poisoned arrow" about it. She's not the best writer, but she's got some interesting ideas.

I have zero frame of reference for how to do this with someone I'm actually attracted to. Hell, if the chemistry is right, I'll be too hot before any clothes come off. :)

Of course, this is the 'sober me' talking. I haven't had sex in months, so basically a stiff breeze can have me ready to go. Karezza might be a viable option when I come back to earth.

That is totally acceptable! It is hot, and after now a handful of experiences, I can say it is both challenging and rewarding. Communication has been key for us and not feeling embarrassed or guilty for saying "Whoa, this is getting to be too much for me ATM". When feelings like that come on, I just try to remove sensation from down below and refocus on my wife. Let her consume your attention!
