I think that time isn't the most important thing here in NoFap. Sure, time is important so you can know how long have you gone without P, M or O. But are we here to abstain from P or to reach our goals only? If you loose, you gotta face it and begin again. You should not create excuses, you should restart. Sure, you're gonna have to start over and stay more 30, 90 days or whatever you set as your goal. Even if you did something that breaks the rules from your goal, but its so small you don't even think you gotta restart. If you loose, it's OK since you learn your lesson and don't do it again. You gotta learn from your mistakes. Try not to make, but if it happens, try to learn something from it, try not doing the same mistakes twice. Does anyone agree with me?

So do you think the streak length is important or not? I don't really get it from your post. The thing which counts is the new "homeostasis" of your body and mind (which cannot be measured by numbers), and of course your achievements in real life.

I interpreted it as it's going to take time to recover. Learn your lessons well. Or it's going to take even longer.

The most important part about nofap is finding fufillment within yourself. Time is definitely relevant in my opinion due to the rewiring I have experienced. It is important not to look at nofap as a challenge or number of days though, but as a lifestyle change. Mental shift and forming new habits are the ultimate goals, however long it takes to achieve them.

In my opinion, time is the least important.
I mean, look...30, 90, 120 days or 2, 3 years, at either of this period you can fail. Countless people have fallen like this.
If you would look critically this place almost 80 % of people fail at one point or another. The rest later.
Sure the success section is fool of people who say are doing great, only to find them falling later.
What you do with your time and what changes you made in your life... That's what counts!

I am at 26 days and consider that nothing unless I have not progressed in changing my lifestyle.
Only the changes will prevent me from ever wishing / going back to the misery of fapping.
