Finding a tons of news about the shortcomings or long-term bad effects of porn, I am thinking about quitting it.
I am just wondering that is it much better to find a prostitute than to use porn to fap?(things that this website considers sinful.
Because it is a real experience with a person and I used to use prostitutes for several times.
And it does feel good but a bit pricy, (the time wasted as well)
just being afraid of the unknown effects of it haunting me right now.

Hope someone can give me useful advice whether prostitution is bad or actually beneficial so that I can have a better life. (no girlfriends now btw.)
(Sorry bad english, not mother tounge.)
    Thanks a lot.

change from one addiction to another addiction is not the final solution, and I wouldn't recommend you to find prostitutes or any way related to sex from another women or men except your partner. Because physcologically, you would get influenced that you couldn't forget the experience of finding prostitutes or random sex.
I didn't say it for your parents or others, but I did say it for your own future!
Don't do it, and keep nofap.

  3. Going to agree whole heartedly, i am not religious. And i believe going from one to the other isnt addressing the underlying issue or issues. (Plus its a waste of money)

    Good luck

  4. Is prostitution better? Probably. Because it is a real human and not pixels after all. There is not unnatural amounts of superstimulus. And you would also be limited by money and time. So your addiction (if it would be prostitutes) would be capped, so to speak. You would not be able to do it like when PMO'ing for so long and so often. So because of those reasons dopomine would not be released as much and you would not desensitize your brain so much.

The risks are STDs, legal dangers that might come with braking a law and all the poisoning of moralities, character, perception of women and your general mentality what comes with indulging in vice like this. But then again I probably should not be judging. Because I don't see anything wrong with hooking up for casual sex on Tinder, which is basically the same as prostitution. With only difference that you're trading orgasm for orgasm instead of orgasm for money. I simply don't do prostitutes cos I want female I am with to enjoy the pleasure of sex. That turns me on; to know that I can satisfy her. And the opposite I find off putting. Otherwise I would probably be doing prostitutes. Cos it's all the same shit. But hey, if you value pleasure given to women and money less, and quick no bullshit (flirting, going to dates, dressing up pretty, etc) sex more then go on.

By the way, I don't really draw a distinction between porn and prostitution. Porn IS prostitution. Whores get paid for having sex. It's all the same stuff. It does not make sense why one is legal and other is not. And why one is taboo and other is socially acceptable. Does the situation magically change when you turn a camera on? What if I call a hooker and get get to have sex with me while I film it to make a home video? What difference there is between a insert- your-your-favorite-porn-website-here.com. It's just legalized prostitution. Just complete nonsense.

The "P" in PMO could also include prostitution ya know (even if it officially doesn't, I count it like it does)

There's a movie called "Shame" starring Michael Fassbender and it deals with his sex/porn addiction basically making him a dick towards women and having PIED when having sex for intimate reasons. If you're confident you will not trigger watching it (there is obviously nudity and sex in it), I suggest you give it a watch.

Prostitution could be a substitute for porn because (speaking from personal experience) it leads nowhere good and you end up feeling ashamed, regretful and depressed (pretty much the same as with porn :( ). Visiting prostitutes is still damaging, although not leading to intense orgasms as PMO, it takes just as long to actually recover from the after-effects (brain fog, no motivation, spiral of shame, social anxiety, etc.)
