Is it PIED or Masturbation induced ED?

Hey guys. I discovered Edging couple of months ago, and i absolutely loved it. Too bad im not doing it. Here is why...
I had masturbation addiction (if its an addiction) more than the porn addiction i guess. I was also a heavy smoker(1.5 pack a day for the last 17 years) but ive quit for good 2 days ago YAYYYY!!! Im 35 and I had erection issues with my SO, out of 10 times id go limp 5/6 times.The problem wsnt physical as i regularly get morning woods. Arousal was so hard to come by and sometimes i had no erection during sex but when i go to sleep id wake up with a raging hard on. I was so frustrated and I missed those spontaneous erections and feeling of livliness down there. If i can summerize my problem id say that i have high libido but i avoid real sexual situations beacuse of getting no erections or the fear of losing it. Id happily trade real sex encounter to watching porn on screen OR beating my penis for hours without it. I was smoking 1.5 to 2 packs of cigarettes a day and now im suffering from regular bouts of ED, difficulty getting aroused, anxiety and depression.i discovered edging a couple of months ago and i absolutely loved it. Id go for days edging(2/3 hrs daily) without coming i like the Alpha feeling it gives me and quick arousals are also a benefit i observed.

But I discovered /r/NoFap during my search to find an answer to my problems and i am now on a hard mode for atleast 90 days....i have also quit smoking.
What do u guys think my problem is as i have been to a doctor and he said that there is nothing physically wrong with me. Is my ED related to my masturbation addiction. I have also quit smoking recently to see what effects it would produce.
