Instagram relapse?

Here's the line I draw for myself personally: If I consciously do something that I know hurts my recovery, that's a relapse. So if I see an attractive woman and maybe look at her for a few seconds, that's not a problem. The real question is this: As soon as I realize that I'm doing it, what is my decision? If I am self-aware and realize it's an issue and turn away - good for me. If I continue to ogle knowing that it's wrong - bad.

Wet/erotic dreams are not a relapse as you don't have any control over those things.

 

Honestly man, a half a second peek of a P-substitute does not qualify as a relapse according to my rules. Just be careful not to give in into a full blown relapse.

 

Its impossible to avoid accidental vire of nudity and stuff like that in today's society. Unless you live in the woods. As long as you do what it takes to stay away from porn and P-subs your fine. For example yesterday a roommate sent a picturr of a sexy girl in a whatsapp group chat. Nothing I could do about it.. When I saw the picture I just thought nothing of it and moved on.

No, absolutely not. Looking at an attractive woman is healthy and it shouldn't be avoided. We don't want to lead a life where we avert our eyes from all the beauty we are surrounded with.

It's about what your mind is doing when you look at an attractive woman that matters. If I'm in yoga and notice a young lady who has a nicely toned body... Do I 'store' that image for later so that I can create fantasies about her? Or do I appreciate her femininity quickly and then move on? One is healthy, the other isn't.

As I said if you can control it it’s is already a progress. But you need to understand that this accs normally are fake or with A LOT OF photoshop in it. This girls change their bodies and anything what they want to in 5 minutes to make you think that they are gorgeous.
