I made it to 180 days then failed, then failed again, and again and again. I get up dust myself off and keep trying.

 

What was your promise?

Maybe think about the scope of the promise some and talk some more to your SO
Goals need to be reachable. I have no knowledge of your situation, so i would caution you to set the goal at a high level that is still attainable but is not so all or nothing in its "fail mode"

I think you wanna say somthing like that: If you decide to start climbing, don't start with the mount everest cause you obviously won't reach that target. Start with the hill behind your house.

 

Why did u relapse after 180 days?! This demotivates me tbh.. I thought it gets easier so why do people relapse after such long streaks??

 

My father was in the hospital and my stress levels were through the roof. I had some drinks and lost control over myself. It was a huge mistake. One that I learned from.

 

I hope your father is well also your streak is good. You will reach 2 weeks in no time
