    Hello there!


    I am Philipp and I come from Germany.
    I am addicted to porn and masturbation for a long time. I started porn and masturbating when I was 12 years old and I am not able to stop. I discovered NoFap 3 months ago and since then I have tried to control my sexual power but my record was only 8 days I believe.
    I really want to change my life because during these 8 days I have experienced great benefits like more energy and a clearer mind. I admit I am addicted to porn and I know how bad it is for me. If you want you can join my journey here currently on day 0 again because I relapsed just earlier this day.

    hey there! just a piece of advice, build on solid habits that would replace your using behaviors because willpower won't last long. you need to rely on your habits. you're not alone! cheer up :)
     
  3. I was going to vote for exercise but for me it just drive my urges through the roof, so picking up a new hobby is a good choice! :)

    What habits would you recommend?
    I already started a meditation habit of 5 min every morning, but I want to increase that to maybe 10 min and more often.
    I also struggle a bit with smartphone addiction but I try to use the app forest as often as I can to stay away from my phone.
    I do exercise 3 times a week for 30 min but that doesn't really do much in terms of nofap and I don't think I can sacrifice more time for exercising because I have a lot to do for school.
    oh and I always take cold showers every morning for a long time already and I really enjoy them!
    Maybe you have other great habits to share?

    I have voted for willpower. I think hobbies will fill your free time, but what if you get off from this hobby or you are someone who doesn't have specific hoppy as l.
    I am new registered member here, I like the challenges and competitions, so I believe I can success here. In my bad history with PMO before nofap, I could reach 40 days without M. But, the one who I was listening to his lecture and told me about nofap said: The solution is to leave the addiction. I will try this approach and I will check if this works for me. Nofap always has the support and success stories, so I try to fill free time to read these stories and see how other people make a progress. People always needs to someone who motivate them and provide the support.

  8. I would say that will power will have to be the number one in the frist two weeks, then you will need a hobby that will give you some pleasure. Willpower will need to be ready at all times but once you get the ball rowling it gets easier, I am in day nine of my first run and it is getting easier but I still need willpower to keep me away from temptation.

    Once you make you mind up everything starts to fall into place.

    i guess it was pure boredom and that i couldnt really get out of bed in the morning. i need to work on that so i dont edge anymore. boredom is a huge trigger for me but i know i can defeat my stupid addiction

    I don't think any one of those alone is enough to help you. I got the most use of willpower and the second most from finding a new hobby.

    i am currently learning to play guitar and piano plus i have a whole lot to do for school. i think if i stick to it that should keep me busy enough

    Going to the gym helped me reduce stress, since masturbating kinda did the same, for a second at least. I relapsed yesterday after 2 clean weeks. Best of luck to both of us.

    day 3 on nofap almost complete!
    absolutely no urges for me today. Was all day busy learning for exams and hanging around nofap forums. plus i meditated for 20 minutes in smaller 10 or 5 min chunks which helps me so much. i am using the free version of the ios app simple habit which i think is still really good although you dont have access to some things. check it out if you think meditation would help you or you are stuck on short nofap streaks. although my streak is only 2 days i can really feel that this is the time i am going to make it. due to all the meditation my mindset is so positive that i cant even think about giving up or failing anymore. i just have to continue with meditation practice and i think i will be fine. its crazy how effective meditation is! going to work out now and then have a nice dinner and go to bed, school is tomorrow. working out should prevent me from relapsing.

    currently on day 5 and it is getting more and more difficult!
    last night I had some really strong urges but I didn't orgasm. The time where I am lying in my bed and i cant sleep is a huge trigger for me because I used to do that in order to fall asleep more quickly. I won the battle though and went on my phone and distracted me by forcing myself to watch a random off topic non-sexual video. tough day today because i had an exam but i think it was pretty decent. now being occupied learning for the next exam tomorrow and therefore i wont relapse. gotta be aware of th evening though !

    Hi! For error I have read "I want to change my wife". However it's hard for all of us, but is your choice... You can heal yourself or continue with masturbation addiction.

    day 7 is reeally difficult
    i edged pretty hard today but could control myself and didnt orgasm.
    i feel like i have more energy now and i am a bit more focused. almost a week now!
