I'm James. Guess I'm here cause of how jacked up (no pun intended) porn has made my life. Right now I'm a junior in high school. But when I was a freshman, I was really motivated, and smart, I guess. Everyone thought that I was going to go to Harvard, I got Governor's Awards from my school, I was asked to apply for scholarships. But then at the beginning of sophomore year I asked this girl out. Her name was Julia, and I'd had a crush on her since 7th grade. She said no. I was so embarrassed. Even though I knew how bad porn was (I'd never watched it), that night I was just so upset and horny that I found some online. And then I watched some the next night. And the next night. I had made myself so anxious trying to do so well in school and trying to be with Julia that before I knew it I was using porn to cover up my feelings. I started looking at really creepy hardcore stuff. My grades dropped. I stopped hanging out with my friends as much. When I finally started to try and stop I just couldn't. I'd try weeks on end, making it a couple days at most, sometimes just a couple hours. Until my mom caught me looking at some last week. That was the end. I know I have to fix this. Over the past week, it's taken a ton of effort but I haven't watched any porn. Now, I'm trying to go not just P but PMO for the full 90 days.
