Hey bros im new to this site and i wanted to add my two cents on this topic! First a little background and i wanted to add some important key notes on the subject that you guys may be overlooking. For one when i was young i used to masturbate by rubbing my penis together with my thighs while keeping myself elevated on a desk or something i think this could have contributed to my tight BC muscle being more stronger than the PC muscle which would cause me to have premature ejaculation and weak erections. The main thing i have noted is that i have had a weak urine stream and feel like peeing a lot throughout the day and i remember always tensing my BC muscle to get every last bit of pee out since i was little which would cause the BC muscle to involuntary contract all the time contributing to PE. I noticed that my brother and father have really strong urine flow and my brother never complains of erection problems i truly believe that my bad habits with the BC muscle caused and imbalance since the primary function of the BC muscle is to cause emission in other words ejaculation. I have been trial and erroring for as long as i can remember im 24 now and i remember at around 15-16 i first started doing kegels because i thought they would help you last longer and i think i messed myself up worst! Today i tried to to contract only my PC muscle and tried to keep the BC muscle relaxed it was super tough to keep it tell the difference but what i did was keep one finger in my anus and two other under my BC muscle when i pulled on the PC muscle at first there was a very subtle tug and i noticed that the BC Muscle tried to contract as well so i lessened the tug on the PC muscle and the BC muscle stayed relaxed!A short while after tugging on it for awhile i gave it a break because I didn’t want to tire the muscle i literally got a really strong erection which i am not used to! My theory is that the BC muscle is dominant in us with weak erections and Premature ejaculation and in normal guys who can last for almost and hour their BC muscle is inactive during sex which lets them last forever.

BTW i used to watch porn at 11 the good old high speed internet and always masturbated as fast as possible hence why my BC muscle is more dominant than my PC muscle. Soooooo i found NOFAP and gave it a go and haven’t watched porn for at least a year so i thought i this would cure me but sadly quitting porn alone will not cure you if you have a tight BC muscle i swear i dread sitting down sometimes because i can feel my BC muscle involuntarily contract which feels like a small orgasm but it does not feel good because it just reminds me of my premature ejaculation. I have also noticed that if my erection is weaker i feel like ejaculating really fast. So just today i focused on Isolating the PC muscle without contracting the BC muscle and im sitting down at this moment and i do not feel my BC muscle involuntary contract which is HUGE!!

Welcome to this site. I hope it will help you on your nofap journey and cure your weak erections and PE problem.

I agree with almost everything that you said and thanks for your contribution. I'm also in the process of keeping my BC muscles relaxed and trying to flex my PC muscle. I learnt to urinate without having to flex the BC muscle to squeeze out the last few drops. But I'm still struggling to isolate the PC muscle. When I flex it I think that I may also be flexing the BC muscle. I can't seem to locate the PC muscle.

When you say that you kept one finger in your anus, did you actually mean ''in'' or ''on'' your anus? I'm willing to try anything to help find the right PC muscle and hopefully cure my PE so any help would be appreciated.

TIP: when writing a long post like this, use paragraphs so that it will be easier for us to read.

Well said. I did lots of research on PE and this site seems to be the best for ideas and possibilities to cure PE. And in particular, this thread. We only have each other and I hope we'll all eventually manage to cure PE.

Thanks oaty! I tried a lot of positions to try to flex the PC muscle without flexing the BC muscle and so far legs spread apart standing up seems to be the best for me. Your finger has to be inside for anus but not all the way just enough to be able to feel a slight contraction.

So essentially you should feel like you are lightly grabbing and trying to pull your finger up with a very gentle force because if you flex too fast and too hard the BC muscle automatically tries to take over. Also make sure to keep a finger below the BC muscle it will try to trick you by making you believe it’s not working. A very gentle touch on the BC muscle is all that is needed because if you try to put pressure on the BC muscle with your finger it will be tougher to feel if it is active or not when you are only trying to flex the PC Muscle.

An update: The urge to use the restroom has subsided considerably since yesterday. I believe it is because my BC muscle is finally taking a break and not putting too much pressure on my prostate and bladder. My urine flow also feels a little stronger. I also awoke with a good erection and i did not feel the BC muscle flex like i usually do.

The reason i bring up the restroom is because im not sure but one gentlemen earlier in this thread said that his urologist prescibed him muscle relaxants for his pelvic floor (BC, PC, IC) and all of his symptoms nearly dissipated! Which totally makes sense from a physical standpoint because if our pelvic floor is really tensed up and imbalanced, it puts an immense amount of pressure on the bladder and prostate which give us old man symptoms like low libido weak erections, weak urine flow!

Also i wanted to add something i left out last post is that my ejaculations barely dribble out! Do any of you guys have this problem as well? I can remember a time when i was younger that my ejaculation would spew out like opening a champagne bottle but lately it has just been dribbling out. The main muscle for emissions is the BC muscle so i read a lot of pelvic floor dysfunction articles that when the pelvic floor is overtrained it is not strong! It actually becomes a lot weaker and does not function at full capacity. I am spitballing here but it makes sense if the BC muscle is always tensed up and overused it will not do it’s job properly. This is why a lot of people who practice kegels end up getting worse like i did because we flexed the BC Muscle during the kegel and caused an imbalance!

Maintaining hope and optimism are key when these problems affect our sex lives tremendously. It’s almost unspoken but deep down inside all we want to do is have enjoyable sex not having to worry about losing an erection or coming too soon.

I personally think there is not a lot of research being done in the medical community because it is convenient for them to have us all messed up! If you really think about if we all cured ourselves erection supplement sales would plummet! That is why we have to stay strong even in these times my brothers.

Thanks for your reply once again. Lots of detailed info there.
I'm a little worried about sticking a finger in my anus. Do I need to use lube? How much much finger do I need to put in there, a third, half? I think its something best done when having a shower.

Nice update. I'm glad that you're making progress and I wish you a full recovery.

Do you know what's the name of the muscle relaxant that was prescribed to relax the pelvic floor?

I wouldn't worry about ejaculations dribbling out for now. This should be the least of your problems. Just stay focused on trying to find a cure for PE.

I have used my middle finger no more than one knuckle length you are not trying to touch your anal sphincter you are just trying to feel a squeeze in that general area! Make sure to feel your BC muscle it will try like hell to compensate for the weak PC muscle pull your PC muscle really really slowly i cannot stress this enough or the BC muscle will take over!

Yeah bro i used to do kegels incorrectly by flexing the BC muscle and i would get a lot of pelvic pain my penis felt dry with no life and numb. Today after doing my PC exercise i got an erection a really strong one right after! And now i can barely feel the BC flex when i touch the head of my penis. Before i would barely touch the head of my penis and my BC muscle would flex involuntarily and my erection would fade away i think there is a link here!

When I try to flex the PC muscle I do it slowly and I dont flex it too much otherwise like you said, the BC muscle will also end up flexing. But I need to try inserting a finger in my anus just to make sure I'm doing it properly.
Just to clarify, once half of my finger is in my anus, I should gently feel my BC muscle with my other hand and slowly pull my anus/PC muscle. If I'm doing it properly, I should feel my finger move up and my BC muscle shouldn't tighten or change in any way? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

You provided some more interesting info and I'm also sure there's a link between PC training and good erections.

Yes at first i thought i was crazy when i felt the BC muscle actually be still when i was contracting the PC muscle but yes the BC muscle should be still!

Half of your finger is actually too much at the most it is just where the first line is on your middle finger. I find that if i make a kind of hook shape of my finger i can feel the contraction easier and i press on the outer walls of the anus.

When done correctly your pelvic floor should not feeling achy or aching and should feel like you have no urinary urgency (in my case) and when you tug on the PC muscle correctly you will notice that your penis actually does tug and and you do actually feel your testicles pull up! I never understood that when people said “you should feel your testicles draw up and penis bob” but it was because i was doing the exercise wrong and flexing the BC muscle instead of the PC and the IC muscle which are connected.

Another update this morning while i was watching game of thrones i got a couple of spontaneous erections where i had to stand up for awhile before they would go away. Now understand im not used to have spontaneous erections at all because my pelvic floor has always been a mess but it sure is motivating to have a solid erection for no reason just watching tv it means im doing something right.

If you do feel a little achy take the next day off because it is really easy to tire out a muscle that has not been used and you might think you are working it out but the BC muscle will end up doing the work again and it’s back to square one.

As complicated as it seems it looks like there are two main factors here. I believe the PC muscle and the BC muscle are like the ying yang. If one is stronger or in this case more active than the other it will engulf it’s counterpart and cause an imbalance. Think about this when we were young watching porn or what have you our main goal was to get a nut off as quickly as possible. So in order to get this feeling of ecstasy we started squeezing a muscle that is only supposed to be squeezed during ejaculation which is the BC muscle! So with time we got used to squeezing this muscle which should NOT be squeezed as soon as we started masturbating and it became overactive!

Now the side effect of this atrocious way of masturbating is that this BC muscle involuntarily contracts for no reason which makes it feel like a mini orgasm or aching behind your balls (at least for me) which makes you reach orgasm quick as hell! It all make sense why changing positions makes us lose erections because i have noticed that my BC muscles contracts violently when i would switch positions in bed immediately after my erection would soften.

I was hanging out with my girlfriend on the next day after starting my routine and i got an erection that would literally bob which has not happened since i was in my teens. We kept it pg 13 because it was really late but she kept flicking it (from outside my shorts) and it would not go down. Normally when i hang with a girl i usually don’t even get an erection, if i do it’s a really weak erection which is pitiful.

I apologize for rambling on but this BC muscle has plagued me since i was in my teens i never had a really good sex life so to speak so imagine how it feels to hear 60-70 men still having sex can be rough but at the same time it motivates me and shows me i know something is wrong with my pelvic floor!! Not knowing what is wrong with you is the worst feeling ever hell i thought i had low testerone went to get it checked out i was at 556. I thought i had a venous leak too but the erections i have been holding for long periods of time tell me otherwise thankfully.

Hi, I'm new to this forum and this thread is amazing so far. I'm confused about a few things though.

When I rub my glans to get involuntary kegels (IKs) and feel the usual twitch in my BC muscle, clenching the PC muscle doesn't stop the spasms. But when I push out on the PC muscle they almost completely stop. Which makes me confused as to whether I should be tensing it or stretching it/pushing it out?

One thing for sure is that I know strengthening my lower back, glute medius and fixing my anterior pelvic tilt will only help. But knowing this would help determine my next step. Also not sure how significant this is but my spasms are only on one side of my perineum (my left)

Anyone? It's the theme of the thread could anyone tell me whether lower back training would help and whether I need to kegel or reverse kegel?

Welcome! In the past i tried to work out my back and fix anterior pelvic tilt because i thought that was the cause of my pelvic floor problems but when i worked out my glutes and my lower back i got minimal results i think when i was doing hip thrusts (a common glute exercise) i did notice my erections were a little better but i think it was because i was contracting the PC Muscle somewhat during that exercise.

In my opinion i believe that the reason why the BC muscle is overactive is because the PC muscle is so weak because it’s easier to contract the BC Muscle instead of the PC because of poor masturbation habits. I think that if we make the PC muscle the dominant muscle the BC muscle will stay inactive until it is needed for ejaculation!

I think this is how some guys can have sex for literally hours and rock solid because the BC muscle is literally relaxed the entire time while the PC Muscle is contracted keeping the pelvic organs protected. In other words our goal is to make the PC muscle the dominant muscle somehow so we can get delayed ejaculation which might sound bad but hell the actual sex feels better than the ejaculation because once you ejaculate you’re done.

I'm curious about the anterior pelvic tilt now though, since I have that too. Can anyone else on this thread confirm they have it too?

  18. Hey all, just joined as I found this thread!

So I was training the wrong pelvic floor muscle for ages and suffer from PE and it all just feels very tight down there.

Am I right in thinking the most important exercise to help relax and combat the tightness would be slightly clenching the muscles of the anus whilst trying not to flex my glutes? Almost like I’m pulling in with my anus? I saw someone mention putting his finger slightly in and causing it to feel slightly pulled inwards when he flexes the muscle, would that be correct?

Following that I should also push out the muscle between my testicles and anus which causes the muscle between to balloon slightly then when I relax the push it goes down again?

Sorry if thats not very. The muscles I first started to exercise were me flexing my penis up and top and tensing it up. Then I did the forcing urine out one.

Yes i have a slight case of anterior pelvic tilt which made my belly potrude even though im skinny and made my lower back hurt like crazy. I also had forward head posture from too much playing video games. Did you know you add an extra 10 lbs of pressure to your spine the more forward your head is? It’s like having a bowling ball near your body then sticking it out more and more it becomes more difficult to hold the weight even though the weight has stayed the same!

So what i did was doing some hip thrusts because i have no glutes whatsoever and fixed my forward head posture (basically just keep my head in line with my body) and now my lower back does not hurt like it used to. Fixing anterior pelvic tilt helped out my lower back pain and potruding belly (i look skinny again) but it did not do much for erections and PE.

    Welcome bro!

Yes sir there is a subtle distinction between the BC muscle contraction and the PC muscle (anus) contraction! I had to put a finger close to my anus just to feel the difference! Since we are so used to contracting the BC muscle (ejaculatory muscle) the BC muscle always wants to take over.

I did a lot of trial and error to reach this point so basically at first i tried to do it by feeling alone and visually seeing my penis pull in i tried that for a few days and shortly after i had to pee a lot throughout the day no spontaneous erections whatsoever and my pelvic floor felt really achy all day HORRIBLE feeling my BC muscle was twitching all day i was thinking to myself why did this happen i thought i saw my penis retract inwards why am i getting worse?

So a few days later after the pelvic floor calmed down on it’s own i tried a different method. At this point i was willing to do almost anything so i stuck my middle finger near my anus because pelvic floor therapists use this method to feel how tight your pelvic floor is and i tried to tighten the muscle around my finger. At first I didn’t feel nothing at all! I only felt my BC muscle contract! I knew this wasn’t right so i focused on the back of my pelvic floor a little bit and finally after a couple of tries i actually felt something pulling on my finger!

So i finally contracted my PC muscle but i still needed to isolate it or the BC muscle would continue to ache and get worse completely defeating the purpose of doing this exercise. After a couple more tries i actually isolated the PC muscle i confirmed this by having two fingers directly under my BC muscle to feel it flex or not. It has to be a really gentle contraction or the BC muscle will take over i cannot stress this enough you also have to slowly pull in the PC muscle.

Now that i finally got to the point of PC muscle isolation it was time for some reps so right now im still in trial and error but what i have so far is that LESS IS BETTER. When i tried a few second contractions in the beginning i started getting solid and i mean solid erections just by being at work or watching tv. It literally feels like my penis was full to the max and I didn’t feel aching in my pelvic floor and i didn’t have to force anything.

Later like a few days ago i got a little adventurous and tried to hold the contraction for about 20 seconds at least with just a few seconds of relaxation in between and i think i tired the PC muscle out because i wasn’t getting erections throughout the day shortly after this. I have given the pelvic floor two days of rest so far im going to try today a ONE humble set of 5 reps of 5 second holds and maybe 5-10 seconds of rest in between.
