    Dear NoFappers,

When I left home to travel over 2 years ago I made a deal with myself not to fap again as I was a serial fapper before then. I have not fapped once in all that time, I simply wait to be with a girl to release the pressure. I'm 28 and have had a number of relationships in this time. I am not an ugly person and I do not have any sexual troubles now nor did I have any before this decisions, it was solely a decision.

Just three days ago I was speaking with two friends about my abstinence from fapping for 2 years and my lack of intercourse for the past 5 weeks and they are being quite serious about telling me I need to fap that my sexual frustration is clearly evident which I now too believe is very true.

I only discovered NoFap today and it couldn't have come at a better time to find it.
What should I do? I refuse to pay for sex and I do not like going to a night club to find girls.

You need to look for other places to channel your energy. Exercise, creative pursuits, hobbies, career goals. Find things you are passionate about and release the sexual energy you're not releasing sexually into those things.
    It's called sexual transmutation.

But another thing to think about is where is your sexual frustration coming from?
I think to a degree sexual frustration only exists if you believe you need sex to feel good about yourself and function.

Meditation helps me a lot, specifically Zazen.

  4. Is the problem here whether you should masturbate? My personal view is that the problem is fapping to porn. If you can just fap I can't see that is a problem. Most people on here don't fap Because they are rebooting their brains to stop the association of fapping and porn. If you have gone two years without either I'm sure you can fap and not worry. However if you still think you have a PMO problem I would restrain from fapping

This is pretty much right on point.
The key is to stop treating fapping/sex as some kind of biological need that you can't imagine going without. All that does is set you up for an eventual failure and create the illusion of 'sexual frustration' when in fact what is actually happening is that you have a whole load of extra energy from abstaining from PMO that you need to spend on activity that actually require physical and mental exertion and focus or just generally pushing yourself, whether that be studying, lifting weights, approaching women.

I think this picture links quite well to this thread fapstronaut.jpg
