No wet dreams dont count as relapse and the disgust you mention is normal, at least for me anyway. It'll get better with time though. How often/frequently do you normally have wet dreams anyway?

It is not a relapse, you do not need to reset your counter, but you do need to stay strong and avoid binging in your depressed state. You have no responsibility for the nightfall that happened while you slept, but you will be responsible for what you do today. Even if it didn't start well, I hope you can have a great day.

Enjoy your day, and stay strong. Your body is healing is the message of nightfall. Now give your mind the time it needs to heal and enjoy the full result.

What if in the dream you made the decision to watch porn, then had an orgasm? That's what I just woke up from. I wouldn't have made that decision if I was awake, but in my dream there was a thought process where I decided to do it.

  10. That's not a relapse. That's just the addiction messing with you.

That's what I thought too, it's just discomforting when you make decisions like that in your dreams. Like I suppose it's part of the healing process but I just thought your body would be craving women, not porn. I guess it's just used to getting off from porn so that's what it associates pleasure with now.
I experienced the same type of dreams when I got off drugs. It's just different because you don't wake up and find out you actually had an orgasm when you dream about doing drugs. Thanks though.

  12. You're right. The addiction-mechanics are the same just ones a substance and the other a process. I STILL have dreams where I smoke a pack of cigarettes or watch porn. That need for the "high" gets rooted in us deep. Don't beat yourself up. The brain does its thing when we sleep and it's hard to tell it otherwise.

If you wet the bed, would there be any side effects? Yes, you would feel relaxed, you would feel no urge to piss when you wake, and you would have to wash all your bedding.
Anything you do has side effects, including O. Even if you were asleep, it happened physically, and there may be a mess to clean up. In our deepest dream state we release a muscle relaxer that keeps us from actually moving like our dream, so we can have a wet dream, even if we are in a full body cast, or sleeping with someone. Often it is followed by a post-O relaxation, guilt, and the chaser effect.

No not really...not much I can do to control them. I cant stop them from happening but I can reduce the chances of one occurring. I sleep naked and on my side so I don't risk rubbing my genitals on something in my sleep (I have something against my wall so I don't accidentally roll over onto my back. Supposedly a low calorie diet and not eating too late in the evening can reduce the chances of it happening. Aside from that, I'm at the complete mercy of my brain and body. Just 1-2 weeks ago I had TWO in one morning..the first time that has ever happened to me. I'll admit the first one was my fault because I fell asleep with a heat pack of my genitals but the 2nd just came on out of no where. And just this morning around 4am I had another one. What's worse is they rarely ever feel good. I mean masturbation orgasms feel good but for some reason with wet dreams I rarely ever feel anything, some times they are even uncomfortable, although the last 3 weren't.

As for side effects; In the last couple months I haven't really experienced any but from the last several wet dreams they've killed my libido and and the last one I had has made me get mind fog, depressive thoughts (feelings of relapse/failure)...I'd say the worst side effect for me is the loss of libido. I do recall for a while that wet dreams wouldn't set me back very far but now they are again...this reboot fucking sucks that's all I know. I make a lot of progress then watch it all vanish just like that.

No. It means your body is healing from stopping NoFap. It's Nature's way of getting rid of your extra semen. I haven't had one (yet). I'm in my 13th day now..... that means my body is still healing. When I finally have one, I know my body is on the right track.

I wouldn't worry about it. Let Nature heal your body. Just don't fap. Wet Dreams are totally okay.

  18. Same. I usually don't have nightfall for months but its minimum 3 times a month when i do have them.
