I feel gay

Discussion in 'Porn Addiction' started by Christopher123, Feb 14, 2017.

  1. I tire of disagreeing with you. I never said HIV wasn't a virus. Yes, you did make it sound like anal is the only way which is why I corrected your statement to "one way." I think we both come from good places even if you're rhetoric leans a little anti-gay. I'm not saying you're homophobic, just that it's coming across this way. At this point I respectfully leave the conversation. Good luck on your journey and OP or anybody else, don't worry about your identity. Just be safe in all things. God Bless

Everyone is free to label themselves what they like, I honestly don't have a problem.

I know a friend who says he drives a motorbike with four seats and a metal casing surrounding the entire body with wind up and down windows installed... To everyone else he just drives a car.

The mad fapper is not homophobic at all, IGY summarised his somewhat confusing personality on these forums in a nutshell 'me think he doth protest to much.'

I'm assuming there is a typo in the above quote lol. However, my book could be used as mis information to support guys and girls in denial. Just saying it is a possibility.

Tell me about it, dude shakespeare is so under rated, man I struggled with it at school but now I am a little older, wow all his works are masterpieces.

I actually went out and bought Romeo and Juliet over the weekend, that's my all time favourite. Macbeth was pretty legit to.

"accusation"? It's a logical assumption when you talk about being gay like it's a derogatory thing, and you accuse people of being gay to shame them it's logical for me to assume you think being gay is a bad thing.

I do not know really where to start on this. I have been looking at porn for 20 years. I would say that in my late teens I began watching gay porn here and there.
In my mid 20's I had a few encounters but it really was not what I was expecting.
There has only been 1 man that I was attracted to and we fooled around once or twice when we were drunk. We were/are both straight and it was nothing serious.
There were 2 other men I met strictly for the purpose of engaging in oral sex. It happend and it really did not do anything for me. I enjoy watching online, even fantasizing about it but not actually doing it.
As my wife and I have grown further apart I find myself relying on porn and sexual fantasy to meet my needs. I am nervous that should my wife and I seperate that I will be tempted to fufill my desires.

As usual, I don't know what the fuck you are going on about. o_O I have never spoken about being gay like it's a derogatory thing. Let us look at an example of what I did actually say in defence of homosexuality...
In contrast, you have revealed yourself to be homophobic. Let us look at an example of what you actually said to denigrate homosexuality...
So, what did I mean in the following post?.
First, you have been making derogatory remarks about homosexuality since you first posted here. Secondly, I used a quotation from the c. 1600 play Hamlet by William Shakespeare. It has been used as a figure of speech, in various phrasings, to describe someone's overly frequent and vehement attempts to convince others of some matter of which the opposite is true, thereby making themselves appear defensive and insincere. In other words, I am suggesting that you make all this fuss about homosexuality because you cannot face up to the fact that you are homosexual yourself. I do so, not to shame you madman. It's merely an observation. In my view all people are equal irrespective of their orientation. OK?

Here is an explanation of its use originally and how it has changed in time @tweeby.

By the way tweeby, who underrates Shakespeare? I have never heard anyone do so.

Agreed, although I've never liked Romeo and Juliet. Twelfth Night is my favourite. ;)

It's underrated by those who study it. I always remember hating Shakespeare when we studied it in school, but now I can appreciate it more. It's generally hated by high school students who aren't into drama, lol. ;)

I studied Shakespeare at school and soaked it up. What impressed me about it that whatever the setting for a each play, it was character driven, ergo, a social commentary on human relationships and human nature. Totally absorbing for me. :)

I'm pretty sure most African Tribesman and aborigine bushmen are familiar with that quote. Not that you would need to be familiar with it to garner its meaning. It's not exactly esoteric

    " I have a dream"
You see, that is actually from a Martin Luther King speech,.......... blah, blah, blah.............

You're saying I'm gay as an insult. Your use of words like "madman" and "fucking madman" and other jibes are insulting as well. You can try to lie and say you're not doing that, but it's obvious you are when I read it as it's sitting there in type.

It is an old ploy to get people to accept homosexuality to accuse them of being gay if they find some objection to it. The irony is that the one calling the person gay in a derogatory manner to shame the other also considers homosexuality objectionable or least is calling it such when he accuses someone of being gay as a means to insult them.

You, my friend, IMO, are a closet homophobe which is why you go around accusing people of being gay and pretend to be pro-homosexuality. When in fact, you are a hater. I'm not saying this to be mean, or to insult you it's just my observation:cool:

Oh really? I wonder why there is an entire Wikipedia page devoted to it explaining just that phrase! It reveals what it meant at the time, how it has been used in different contexts since and how the word "protest" was used originally and understood by the English hundreds of years ago and how the word is defined to mean the opposite in our society. And you think that African tribesmen and Aborigine bushmen would understand all of that (and poor old @tweeby), without any explanation?
No, I am offering my opinion based on what you have said since first coming to this site. You can deny it, that's up to you.
First, you are not my friend. Secondly, I am not a homophobe (overtly or covertly). Thirdly, I do not "go around accusing people of being gay". Fourthly, I make no pretence about homosexuality. Fifthly, I love and support homosexuals.

You have only got poison to spread on threads about homosexuality, so just leave it to those who have empathy for the OP and others. Take your pedantry elsewhere.

@IGY it is pretty much this for me

Perhaps you were one of those high school kids who had an appreciation for great prose well beyond their years!

The problem with the way you study Shakespeare at school is that they are plays. They weren't designed to be read, they were designed to be performed and watched. It can be difficult reading a play because it doesn't flow like prose and you don't get clear descriptions of the characters and settings. This problem isn't just Shakespeare - look at the outcry when JK Rowling released the script of "The Cursed Child". Everyone thought that it would be a new novel and when it was a play script they felt cheated.

In context as well, Shakespeare did not write in a "difficult" way unlike some modern playwrights. His plays were very much written for the commoners of the time which is partially what made his plays so appealing.

Even very young children, when watching or acting out Shakespeare can get very involved in it, understand it and enjoy it. In my opinion, Shakespeare authored some of the best stories in history and they have been retold time and time again. It's a real shame that generations of people think that he's boring just because of the way they were taught it at school.
