I can't see any advantage and get a lot of urges
    Hi friends,

I am on 18 day no PMO and iam 16 yrs old I have read in many threads that they start feeling lot of benefits after just a week but I don't feel any advantage and everything is same as it was iam unmotivated, unfocused and my biggest problem is I will be sleepy all the day inspite of having a full night sleep. I was even confused about my urges but this article cleared my confusion by an article on reddit.

As NoFap is made for sharing opinions and advice, all your advices and opinions are heartly welcomed and if there are any mistakes iam doing please share it below I would be glad to correct them.

Maybe PMO is not your problem, but something else...

For example, you may feel depressed while PMO'ing, but rather loneliness, boredom, not finding your way in life, issues with parents/school/friends/etc... is the root cause, and PMO just a coping mechanism.

Thank you bro, but do you think 18 days is enough to get advantage of NoFap and please vote above.

  4. Have you changed anything else or just quit PMO? NoFap may fix some issues, but others you'll have to get up and change along with doing NoFap.

I'd answer your poll, but I really haven't been at or past 18 days enough to know

This is a tough poll because the answer is that if and when and what benefits people start to feel is generally different for everyone. There's no magic cutoff of success when you can be guaranteed to feel a change, but there's also no amount of slipping you can do where getting up and moving forward again won't help.

We're all on our own journeys and I think the main goal is to have better control of our lives. If you want to be rid of your PMO compulsion - and the time and energy and spirit sucking effect it probably has had on your life - then there's no point where that stops being a good goal. Keep going, and remember that if you stumble you don't lose your progress, it's not about the counter it's about the journey.

    Good luck!

18 days is no where near a good enough trial period.

    Try 6 months then see

If I've learned anything from NoFap, it's that the brain doesn't heal as fast as I would like it to and that it's a roller-coaster of emotions with rewards coming from long term progress. Being idle may make things harder but lifestyle changes (fitness, dieting meditation or whatever works for you) should ease the difficulty :)
