Howdy, veteran fapstronauts...I am new and need all the advice you can throw my way

    I posted my whole 'history of fapping' thing over on Reddit.
    Basically I have been a porn addict for about 5 years and can really see some nasty confidence and anxiety issues that have arisen in my life over that time.
    I'm totally committed to kicking this habit once and for all but have never really been more than a day without the P. (except once, for about 6 days, by necessity. Shit was it hard. I was ready to dryhump inanimate objects after about day 3)
    Anyway, I'm gonna peruse the site and forums, see what the rest of you have been up to.

    Hey saltgodess! Welcome!

    I'd recommend getting yourself a counter for your signature, so people can see what's going on with you, how you're doing, and if you've relapsed, offer encouragement.

    Keep reading and posting. This has helped me A TON. Reading what others have been and are going through, seeing similarities in their struggles and successes, and just staying focused are the benefits of staying active on the forums.

    Find a like-minded person on here that you can keep in touch with via email/text/whatever. I have a couple of guys I keep in touch with to check in and see how they're doing and reach out to if I ever feel the need for P or PMO. Stay connected with them. If they flame-out or don't meet your needs, find another one.

    The only reason I have more than 2 days without slipping is because I've followed the above.
