  1. I'm getting better. I've gotten to the point where I want to masturbate and don't see any reason not to, but also know I don't have to. I just have to find a reason not to. Regardless of how good or bad the future will be, for me it is about gaining control. Kinda hard to do when there isn't exactly a reason to have control. I have control, I want separation. I want it to stop. But I need a reason. (No I don't.)(You kinda do.)(But I don't.)(Prove it.)(...)

This is a memory I had forgotten about until recently, but I was targeted by an online predator in the 90s on AOL when I was in 5th or 6th grade. I didn't even really remember it until recently and then forgot it until I saw this thread. I've never told anyone about this.

I don't remember how I started talking to this person but I recently remembered many conversations where the person was telling me what masturbation was and to try it because it would feel so good. I can now see the words again. So eventually I did masturbate and told the person all about it who told me to keep doing it and other stuff. I remember being 11 and addicted to masturbation - I would do it every time I would take a bath. This has been repressed for a long time.

This person also told me about porn so I would watch porn primarily on HBO/Cinemax and also pictures on the internet. I would also purchase porn on satellite with the remote. I learned that movies wouldn't charge you at that time as long as the receiver wasn't hooked up to the phone line. I also had a cable/satellite receiver and computer hooked up to the internet in my room. remember recording a bunch of porn on VHS tapes and watching them and masturbating every time my parents would leave the house. I remember going crazy when we would go out of town because I just needed to get my fix. Now typing this I realize that this pattern still continued into adult-hood and marriage. Every time someone is leaving the house immediately running to watch porn and PMO. For a long time I've also wondered if I was abused as a very young child by a live-in female maid. My parents had several different live-in maids from the time I was 1 and I just have the feeling I was abused by one. Can't explain it beyond that. I've also never told anyone about this.

  3. I think you talking about it is awesome. Thanks for sharing.
It's interesting to see how it affects different people, and you very clearly have habits prevailing into adulthood.
As far as abuse goes, most people consider it a touchy subject. And it is. I hope despite that fact it doesn't dictate how you live your life today and limit your ability to improve your life.
Thanks for sharing this, it's actually very inspiring and I hope you figure things out c:

I was exposed to porn at the age of 10 when I decided to randomly visit a pornography site. I'll be honest it traumatized me a bit and to this day I still remember the first nude picture I saw when the web page loaded. I panicked and closed the window 1 second after it opened then didn't watch anything for a little while. A couple of years later I'd watch porn with friends/my neighbor and we'd rate the women from 1 to 10 and discuss what we liked about the picture. Yep.. That actually happened. At sleep-overs my friends and I would watch porn on TV late at night and I saw my friend hump my couch pretending it was the lady on the screen. Eventually I became addicted to porn.

By the way I'm now 27 and I've been doing NoFap for about 7 years.

These past few weeks have been rough.
Work has been really busy and stressful, and I find porn the way to escape and "relax". I have been edging for days, can't help myself.
I don't know how to stop.
    It's so frustrating.

  6. Don't stop for now. Start by shaping it into what you want it to be, changing and rearranging your fantasies into vanilla fantasies so that when you come across something you used to find arousing it won't be as hard to tell yourself no.

This might sound weird, but try talking to whoever it is you fantasize about. No! not like that, you sicko! I mean, make up a person and court them inside your head. Build up a relationship with them before you m, talking to them, learning about them, and then when it comes time to m, you won't feel so bad. This is the ideal vanilla fantasy, and something I need to get back into. Real life is hard, lol.

  7. I thought I had posted my answer already on this thread, but I guess I haven't.

I remember being exposed to grossly age-inappropriate TV for most of my childhood. Nothing hardcore, but definitely sexual, and sometimes with partial nudity. Messed up my child's view of adult love for sure. Around 5 or 6 I remember being fondled by someone (don't remember who) who told me they could show me how to make my penis big and hard. And in my family there was always sexual joking and innuendo being thrown around, and I remember me and my brothers being called "perverts" in an almost loving, joking way.

When I was around 8, we were staying the night at my brother and sister-in-law's house, and we rented some random VHS videos. Within minutes of starting one, we realized it was full nudity softcore porn, filled with scene upon scene of simulated sex. I don't know why my brother and his wife didn't turn it off right away. They did nothing; we watched the whole thing (2 hours). I remember feeling excited by it but also dirty and anxious as well. I still get that feeling of anxiety sometimes when watching TV, as if I'm scared deep down that the next scene will pop up with something inappropriate. Why didn't they turn off the damn TV? They were adults, young adults to be fair, but adults in charge of young kids for the night. They had a baby sleeping in the next room. They should have known better. I'm still dealing with feelings of anger at what they did to me.

As for my first time masturbating to orgasm, I remember a muscle car calendar that I found in a closet in my house. Cars with bikini girls posing on them. I was probably between 8 and 10 years old. When I orgasmed I didn't know what the hell was happening; I thought I had done something wrong and that maybe I was hurt or sick. Then it passed and it didn't take very long before I was trying to replicate the experience. That calendar was my introduction to using porn for masturbation, and my introduction to masturbation period. I don't remember how young I was, but I do remember that for the first few years of my masturbation life, all my orgasms were dry. When I started to produce a small amount of semen, I was scared because I thought again that I had hurt myself somehow.

This was the 90s, but we didn't have internet or a computer even. We got a computer when I was in high school, and when we got internet access, it was only dialup for many years. So luckily I didn't have the high-speed porn experience until I was almost 30. But I spent many long hours tying up the phone line, downloading images and short preview clips, which I would watch over and over.

  8. Yeah, the ages of 11-15 is usually the age of sexual exploration on a person. I also don't remember what age exactly it was but I would have to say 12 going onto 13. My school rarely touched based on sexual reproduction or even self-stimulation. I did most of that on my own cause half of the time I was bored and wanted to learn something new/expand my knowledge. I also had the computer as my major advantage on this cause my dad never had any exotic magazines.
I've used both my desktop in my room and my mom's laptop to watch it. 51% of the time I took my mom's laptop into the bathroom with me to watch porn. I would usually go to my main site to look up my first kind of porn then jerked away on it. It wasn't until years later that I fell in love with my main niche porn of pregnancy. That was the one that really started my engine on me. There was also other niche porn that I liked but it was never like the pregnancy kind. It also wan't until years later from that and the past 2 years being in my 20s that I learned that I developed an addiction to my niche porn and porn itself. I have also fantasized about the porn I jerked off to and having a set person in mind to have the sex part of it to make it feel real to me.

  9. I feel for the people exposed to this so early but I am also glad to see so many finding out there is a problem while they are still young.

  10. Not really Freddie, cause it depends on the person themself on what age they deem is ready to start exploring. It's also late middle school to early high school where some boys and girls start their sexual exploration. Cause it was never like when we were younger and playing doctor where we never looked under the person's clothes. Whether it was a boy or girl. The true youngest of finding your sexual parts is the 7-10 age group. That's why I said the 11-15 is the "normal" for all of it.

  11. Understood, I was thinking more along the lines of exposure to all the different niche's or genre's available through internet now as opposed to what older people had access to when we were teens.

  12. Yeah that's the other thing. The market of pornography has shifted from a physical copy as in a book to digital copies. Each person has their own favorite niche porn and it all depends on how you find it online and how many people are out there in the world who have the same niche porn as you
