So porn was always a central part of my life growing up. I'm now a 25 year old virgin who's never had a girlfriend. I've wasted my whole youth looking up porn and I am ashamed now. This is how porn affected my life-
So growing up it started with finding porno magazines when I was 14. I found my brother's Playboy magazines and would grab them whenever he left and return them before he came back. I would look through them but not jack off. I didn't know how to jack off until a year later. I would just read them or look at naked women in it. Fast forward a year and I invited a friend from school, he told me to look up "hentai" and so I did. I didn't even know what it what was until I did. It was like cartoon porn for a 15 year old. I soon started jacking off from there to porn. But porn was always there for me and so was the internet. I got a PSP system and looked up porn late at night in my room. My parents never knew. It grew more substantial from there with the Nintendo Wii and a laptop. I was like a full blown addict from there. Laptop broke from porn use, I would use the Wii for porn from there on. I got a virus on the computer from porn use on it so stopped going on that. Then after high school I got a tablet and porn use was just a daily thing. Jacking off to porn before bed and after waking up and whenever I was bored. Looking up naked women and having favorite pornstars was just normal for me.
I got to college and was still an addict. But this time I actively tried getting a girlfriend to no avail. I would get rejected by a girl, get angry and pissed off, and go back to jacking off to porn. I was extremely socially awkward and get angry when women showed no interest. So I continued looking up porn. I was a loner with little friends and porn was my friend. I was antisocial and hated people. I couldn't understand why I was the way I was and why women repealed from me like the plague. Porn made my life easier or so I thought. I still hope that one day I will be porn free and be successful with women but right now that's not the case.

  2. I know how you feel buddy, My porn use started around the same age as you. I actually had a girlfriend for 5 years from 17 to 22, i'm 33 now and my porn use got a lot more severe after I parted from my ex, It's been over 10 years since i've been intimate with a woman, the only thing I was intimate with in those 10 years was myself and a computer screen full of porn. Felt socially awkward around girls too and had the same feeling as you did that somehow i 'repel them' but the truth is, girls don't warm to socially awkward guys because it makes them feel awkward too, I think a lot of the time girls like the man to take the lead at least with initial encounters and that requires some confidence and practice. I wouldn't worry about being a virgin at 25, there's no shame in that, but I would consider how you are going to focus on socialising more with girls like going to clubs, social gatherings, sports or whatever and just try and start a conversation.

I never had problems like that, but I know a lot of people who have them. And guess what, they all have in common something, they just want to have sex, so don't go this way, try to be only friend with them because they are beautiful human beings, believe me I tried it. That is very good opportunity for her too see how good you are, and to see some qualities you have. Keep your head up!

You got this, dude. You know what the problem is, now solving it is easy.

The rage is the worst part, and the hardest to let out in a socially acceptable way. The best thing I find is "productive/creative destruction". Closing your eyes and counting to 10 doesn't cut it.

If you have a backyard, get an axe or a sledgehammer and wedge, some gloves and goggles, and split wood. No wood? Get half a tire (and you should probably wear steel toe boots doing this) whack the crap out of it with a sledgehammer. It also works out your arms and upper body, and improves your coordination.

If you don't have a backyard, find a shooting/archery range, boxing gym, axe-throwing joint or whatever releases your frustration in a healthy matter.

You'll be a lot calmer after that. Girls can smell desperation or frustration- you probably have more going for you than you thought you had. Go with the flow. She says no? That's fine. It still would have been a no if you didn't ask, and now you know not to waste any more time chasing her.
