How are your sex fantasies like? 1st or 3rd person?

Because i used to think my fantasies were 1st person but it doesn't really seem to be the case. I don't even think a fantasy can even be a true 1st person view because fantasies are fundamentally dissociative states.

We think we are experiencing the fantasy ourselves but it's actually us watching us experiencing it. Just like a 1st person shooter for example is still not a true first person just because you have a 1st person pov.

You are basically experiencing what your fantasy persona is experiencing, which is vicarious living.

    What are your thoughts?

Essentially 3rd person, implies you are projecting yourself onto someone else whilst in the act. You become someone else, like in a video game set in 3rd person view you play as the character, either batman, a soldier or whatevs, it doesn't matter.

In 1st person, you see it through your eyes, you are the person experiencing the fantasy.

If you have to 'BE' someone else to get off, then you are not 'BEING' your true self. So to recap:

    3rd person = something's wrong
    1st person = all's gravy *

    _____
    * Of course most guys watch porn from a 3rd person perspective, but I don't see that as an issue, as most porn is focused on the girl and penetration - well unless of course, you imagine yourself to be the girl. But then again you can flip any scenario around. It all depends what the individual is truthfully imagining at the time. **

    ______
**Then again, we have clowns on here who are getting off to gay/trans porn etc, but pass it off as a fetish - so I guess they must admit to truthfully getting off to it but believe it is just a passing phase, so . . .

I've never experienced this first hand, but imagine you are force fed, oh I don't know, sheep's brain. Someone points a gun at your head and says, 'eat this or die.'

In this situation you would project some other food item onto the sheep brain so you might actually be able to eat it.

Same in a sexual situation you perhaps don't want to be in. You project someone else to get off.

I mean, it has been well documented, that victims of sexual abuse are able to separate the act of sex by casting themselves as an observer rather than a participant.

    It's all the same.

OP hit a nail, fantasy in third person is you viewing yourself, fantasy in first person, is from your point of view. But it's more than just the visual perspective, you are fantasizing about your alter ego, your other self. Creating this character which is not you, and he is the one you are fantasizing for.
