skating is a great one right off the bat. great for self-confidence, great to meet new people, great for releasing built up energies, and you become a part of a really chill community

 

Sports and video games. I personally avoid competitive anything since I'm usually really bad and people care about winning. But more causal settings are great way of knowing people, and it helps you be active!

 

I actually tried to pick up skating last summer but by myself around this track. i feel like such a noob plus I'm in my 30s. Today I found a skate park and slammed onto the ground hard right on my hands and hip. I want to be good, but goddamn its hard to be good at skating.

 

I speak 3 International languages. Fr, En and Ru. So I can go to language exchange meetings and it's great opportunity to meet new people.
