Hi I'm new here

I'm a 31 year old male with a long-standing problem with excessive masturbation for going on 11 years now. Something has to give. It's almost as though the more extreme the porn, the bigger the high.

A couple of nights ago I watched something so depraved, so sickening that I almost frightened myself watching it. It felt like taking heroin for my head. I won't go on for too long, but I know something has to change. That's why I'm looking to take action.

At the same time, am I ready completely cut this out from my life cold turkey? I'm not entirely sure. But I do know that I'm making this first step to take my life back.
