    Hey there gentlemen, ladies.
I'm a 25 years old male, been prone masturbating since I can remember myself and watching porn ever since I was 12-13 years.
And actually, today is the first time I have found the right term for prone masturbation, which I have never spoken about to anyone ever.

I have disengaged in PMO for a week by now, yet I read that edging has the same effect as ejaculation and been doing that... (why tho? haven't got to that part yet)

I plan on stopping PMO, PM and edging.

The are thousands of reasons, but the main ones for me, well,
Women seem like objects to me, this view defines my attitude and therefore my actions. I feel like I give control to an external source.
I'm fed up with it, and I refuse to keep on going down this road, which seems wrong to me.

It's obviously not easy, but I believe in myself.

  4. Hello @HeyJoe
    Hope you are doing well

Yes the road to recovery is not easy. It requires a very strong recovery plan that takes a 360 degree outlook of your life to helping you deal with the tough times, with the urges and the withdrawal symptoms that occur. We are all in this shared struggle. You may want to refer to the materials above. All the best to all your future endeavors.

    Thank you

I already took a long glimpse at those links, I don't watch porn very often to be more precise, and not masturbate as much, I'd say the situation is not too bad, but I want to cut it clean.
Thank you for responding and the warm welcome :)

Hey Joe. Wanted to connect with you because Im a former prone masturbator. Gave it up 4 years ago but don't think I fully recovered from it because I took a wrong plan of action. I think NoFap is our answer. Best of luck bro!

Hi Shutout! Thank you for the reply, I would love to chat.
Could you elaborate what's the wrong turn you have taken?

Basically, after quitting prone I did the one week off and learned the conventional method of masturbation. However I always coupled it with porn and because of that I believe I never exactly recovered the way I should. I have not had a lot of success with sex because my sensitivity and sometimes ED. Hoping NoFap will be the solution I need to fully reprogramming myself!

Well just incase you missed this site - http://www.healthystrokes.com/
There was no single male out of thousands that was damaged in any sort of way due to PM.
So you should not be alarmed, it only requires time and dedication, but you should be just fine my friend.
I recommend reading through to the end of it, in case you haven't done that yet.
    Joe.

Thanks Joe! Fortunately, I learned about healthy strokes 4 years ago and thats when I quit prone for good. Ever since I've been doing it by hand. Luckily no serious damage was done, but I still lack sensitivity which is my main issue during sex. Hoping NoFap will help me reverse that!

@Hey Joe ! Good for you. Edging is the most destructive. It's like leaving a faucet of dopamine running low in your bloodstream for hours. I think it's the true sign of addiction. I was ( ok, am ) a professional at it.
