Here we go

Hi everyone,
this is my first post in this forum. I am in my mid 30s now and discovered porn when I was around 15 in school, so it's been around 20+ years in my life. I first started to realize its bad impact on my life maybe already more than 10 years ago and I stopped using for a while, had a couple of happy relationships, but whenever things went wrong it would crawl back into my life.
I know the NoFap website and reddit thing since around 2 years, still my longest streak so far was around 1 month. I have a new girlfriend now and I opened up to her about this addiction from the start (not the first date lol but quite early on). I had always trouble to talk with anyone about it because I felt so ashamed. She is super supportive and that's why I really want to be the best version of myself but lately I slipped and relapsed again so I figured it would be beneficial to start this (public) journal (until now I did unregular private journaling in my notebook... and tbh it is quite scary how many times I slipped).
Anyway, good luck to everyone out there and let's fight together to become free of this brainwashing bullshit that keeps us from reaching our goals.
