i didn't fap from last 13 days. i am starting it because i was wasting a lot of time and other side effects too due excessive masturbation. i am still feeling like watching porn but i won't do it because it's fucking irritating to know that something controls you ..! i wrote a thread in newbies and today when i was just thinking to go for a porn i just ended up here. good for me.i everyday feel like a sense of achievement but i need a help from you guys.. ! just wanna know ..
HOW MUCH MAXIMUM TIME A PERSON CAN STAY WITHOUT MASTURBATION ? AND THOSE WHO HAD NOT DONE IT FROM A LONG TIME HOW DOES IT FEEL.? ANY CHANGES IN YOUR ENERGY LEVEL / YOUR SELF CONFIDENCE ???

/BECAUSE IF CAN STAY FOR 13 DAYS WITHOUT DOING IT THEN I THINK WE CAN EVEN DO IT FOR AN UNLIMITED TIME.

BUT WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS. HELP ME BECAUSE I DON'T WON'T TO BE SLAVE OF IT ANYMORE..!

6 months PMO free. In reality, MO is not a requirement of living, so you never actually have to do it again. Porn is certainly not a requirement of living, so give it up. A porn addict does not control porn, porn controls us, so the only way to beat it is to put it out of your life completely.

    My story:

Good luck on your journey. This addiction can be overcome. Porn no longer controls me. It did once, no longer.

    Hi Rahul,

you will get many different takes on this. Briefly, here's mine.

I have not watched porn, or masturbated, or even had an orgasm (not even a wet dream!) for 55 days and am still going very strong.

I already know that I will never watch porn again because I know myself and I have made up my mind.

About 30 days in I did experience 'blue balls' which is basically like having mild toothache in them and feeling like they are 'full' for want of a better term but by gently rubbing them and using some of what I will mention below I got through it ok.

I get the odd tingle now but nothing I can't handle.

For me the benefits so far have mainly been the feeling of being liberated from doing something that served neither myself or anybody else. I always knew porn was wrong but like most people turned the other cheek in favour of my own gratification and it feels so good not to be doing that anymore.

I feel I have stopped objectifying women. Yes I still find them incredibly attractive but in a different way as a man who watches porn regularly constantly views woman as a potential (self-serving!) sexual encounter and once you remove that filter that does start to be replaced with a more balanced/healthy one.

I do feel I have more energy as I am less distracted and more focused, not only because I go on the internet less (something I am also cutting down on per se) but I have also decided to make other positive changes like cutting out sugar and caffeine whilst increasing how much exercise I do and making other positive changes in my life.

But the real biggie for me has been finally (after dabbling in the past) getting to grips with the ancient practices of Sexual Energy Transmutation. Now there's nothing weird about this once you understand it (and once you do understand it you can't help wonder why it isn't taught in schools- although that's quite easy to understand once you understand the 'true' nature of so called 'education'!!)

You may or may not be interested in this (is your call) but to me, and many others worldwide, sexual energy is creative energy and if I hear of a way I can convert/sublimate, circulate, and use it to fuel my life as a vibrant, creative, energised, fully alive individual then I'm more than a little interested!!

Here's a few threads you may find interesting or which may help...

If you can stay clean for 13 days the you can definitely do it for another day. And then a day after that. And then a day after that. Beyond that, for now, is not something you should be considering. Trying to see into the future when you have an addiction is dangerously close to wishful thinking and that can distract you from the moment now. If you are thinking about "what if" in 6 weeks time then you are not thinking about "what am I vulnerable to right now".

The fact that you have to ask how long a person can go without M just goes to show how long you have been doing it. Me too. The idea of it seems impossible and the doubts in your head may well be coming from that addicted part of your brain that is casting doubts into your head. If you want reassurance, just look around some of the threads, look at the counters. Each of those people who have done 20, 30, 60, 90 days were like you. They couldn't go a day without MO and now they can. And so can you. So can anyone. But you need to take it 1 day at a time, keep reading, keep asking these important questions, keep listening and keep fighting.

Well done Rahul! Good luck and take care.
