    Hello everybody!

Well, I am at that point in my life where life changing decisions have to be made, and this is one of them. I have been addicted since I was 11/12, and there is no better time than the present to stop! If anyone has any tips on how to stay true when your tired (specifically late at night), please let me know!

    Stay strong!

  2. Welcome here! You've come to the right place. It's a hard road but worth it in the end. We need this community to encourage each other, that's the only way we'll reach our goals. Read through some journals, forums, etc., for the tools you'll need to stay strong. My best advice to you would be to stay positive and don't put yourself down, even if you do reset or relapse! Self-hatred and self-shaming do no one any good. All the best to you on your journey to health! :)

Late at night, or in the early hours of the morning are my trickiest times too. Good news is that you are aware of it! Have some strategies in place... Alternative behaviors such as reading, breathing exercises, stretching, meditation etc... Anything but porn and / or masturbation. Good luck!

Yeah, self-shaming has been an issue, and you're right. Thank you very much!

I like that, reading or meditating to keep me relaxed and away from my urges. Thanks!

Hi @Roxas1316! If you will feel the relapse coming then think about these words: " Focus on your actions, not your aim. " Looking at your goal from here ( day 1 ) can be discouraging and out of reach. But by just focusing on the present moment, and doing what you have to do right now, you'll eventually go a lot farther than you thought. I hope it will help you! Good luck! :)
