Masturbation and porn has had a very serious effect on my life and I just realized how it does affect me and the ones that I love. At first I masturbated to relax and it was like once a week, but now I do it everyday and I've done it from 3 to 4 times in a single day. This distracts me from more important things in my life and I feel I'm missing out a lot of things because I am too busy looking at porn. I've tried many times to quit on my own but I don't feel I have the will to do it. The event that made me realize how bad my habit is was one time that I traveled with my girlfriend, we both are religious and try to keep all kind of sexual acts at a minimum, we have never had coitus. That time I wanted more, and when she was asleep I thought about touching her; I quickly realized that without her consent this was absolutely wrong, I love her and I don't want to hurt her in any way. This is why I must quit porn and masturbation, for my own sake, it is hurting me and the ones I love.

Thank you for accepting me here and I hope you can support me in this challenge.

Welcome Getperez. I'm very new too (24 days). It gets easier, then harder. Then easier, then even more harder but you came to the right place. Pardon the pun. Check out the forums, ask a million questions. You'll find that you're not alone.

Addiction had robbed me of much time and other precious things. Check out the NoFap videos and work on putting some of the ideas into practice.
