Hello from india

    Hi all,

    I am a newbie, heard about nofap a few times before, but never took the effort to sign up. To introduce about myself briefly, I am from India and I have OCD and related ailments. My problem with pornography is that I don't watch continuously, For me there is always cooling periods in between, but whenever cooling period wears out, i watch porn for something like half a day and I would do it for at least 2 days, then again I think to myself that I shouldn't be doing this, after that there would be a cooling period of 3 weeks or one month and again the cycle starts. It's really awful. I want to stop this cycle. Since i have OCD and anxiety issues, its kind of hard to break this circle. Earlier i used to watch only commonly watched genre's like soft porn, interracial, home made.

    Now what really worries me is the change in genre's. Nowadays i am more interested in genre's like blackmail, forced, money talks. I would like to mention one more time, that I don't watch daily, mostly it happens only during my weekends when I am not otherwise occupied. I just spent the weekend watching porn, feeling completely awful and dried up. Is there any particular app that can be used to block porn from mobile permanently, because I use don't use my laptop for this. Any app that can be bought in India? Also kindly advise me on any other countermeasures. I want to stop watching porn permanently, i want a porn-free life. Please pour in your ideas.

    Welcome! I'm glad you're here. Keep coming back. I can't really advise you about what's available in India, but there are lots of other Indians here.

    I'm also Indian ... Welcome to NoFap. I'm on Day 3 and can ensure this is worth a go.

    As of on Apps , I would say it's best if you control without it . Apps can always be disabled. I had OCD for some time (mostly controlled without effort now) and I'm confident you can do it. A positive for people with OCD is we can have intense willpower because we are always challenging our brain.
