  1. hello all,

This is my first formal day with the nofap community but I have previously been on the trail on my own. I'm here now to improve upon the very limited success I've had and also record my progress for which I previously have just relied on my memory.

  2. Hi there. I'm in the same kind of situation as you, I've tried countless times to end my addiction to porn and masturbating before, only to slip back into it. Yesterday was my first day formally as a member of NoFap.

    Best of luck to you!

  4. Thanks for you reply guys and warm welcome. Me personally, my central issue is not with porn, although it can be part of my pattern and I have misused it but for me I struggle most with the hang over of ejaculation which can last up to two weeks. Amongst a long list of fallout problems, I experience lethargy in my body. Often a dull ache and a sapping of energy. It's a problem that persists because typically I can't abstain from ejaculation through this period of hangover in order to reset. So typically, I'm locked/trapped in this cycle of orgasm and hormonal crash. I have on occassion been over the horizon enough times to know the difference in my well being is corellatable fact and is therefore a place I need and want to be.

I'm here now because I'm doing too much of this on my own and more pertinently, too much of it in my head. I'd like to externalise it, receive/give help/support, connect socially, connect with accountability partners.

    Best wishes..

  6. I'm glad that you've decided to take these first steps in the recovery process. I know all too well the cycle that you're referring to. It certainly does leave you with sort of a 'hangover'. If ever I had to describe it to someone, that's how I'd put it. Good luck!
