I have relapsed PM this winter after a "reboot" that I did on my own last year.

I am married with two kids (12 yo son and 7 yo daughter) and I absolutely want to get rid of this mind poison.

I realized last summer that I had a porn addiction problem together with having a rampant depression, albeit at the time I did not make any connection betwen them. I took steps to try to quit PM, mainly on my own, trying other things to treat my depression. Without knowing about nofap, I actually managed not too badly as I think I reset after about 30 days. At the time, I felt much better, so I thought that both problems were solved. But slowly, insidiously, the habit started to come back (once every two week, then once a week, every few days, then again everyday). The alarm tripped when I started PMO at work this winter which meant that I had deeply relapsed and needed help. I got quite upset with this relapse as I had almost no difficulty stopping smoking 10 years ago...

After discovering this site, reading about the symptoms and watching the videos, PMO is clearly in my mind the cause of my depressive state for which I was unable to find any cause in the past.

I am trying the normal level since I am in a relationship. I have stopped PM for about a week, and I can say that it is not much easier than last year except that now the goal is much clearer and my will to quit much stronger. Besides, this time I am also getting help from my Yoga teacher every week which I think will also help.
