    Hello everyone,

This is my first time here, and it's my first time ever telling anyone about my addiction. I hope this will help me.

I'm 25, and watch porn nearly everyday. I bing for hours at a time. But the worse this for me is pictures.

Since i was in highschool when social media started. I started to save pictures of hot girls in my school. It never really ended.

Many times i've deleted my collection but started again. I find myself sitting on facebook and going through and saving pictures of girls i used to have a crush on. I've even edited some with photoshop to "nudify" them. I fap to them everyday, i put them on a slideshow and i fire it up 2-3 times a day.

I think i could give up porn. But the thought of deleting all my pictures and social media (so i can't re-download them) terrifies me.

    Is this common? Any advice?

    Thanks folks

    My Journal
Keep it up, @FenderKid - saw you were reading some success stories. That's a great way to start. Go ahead and create a new thread to write a journal for yourself a few times a week. It really helps to purge the mind and face how bad the problem really is. Identify triggers and develop strategies to deal with urges.

@Aditya2363 way to be an on-the-spot motivator. Hope we see more of both of you :)

I have a similar issue, where the majority of my use is (hopefully 'was') due to pictures and I'd be constantly amassing different collections mostly from social media while I was in high-school and, in more recent years, from the web.

I got rid of them really by amping myself up, trying to think as little as possible as I was doing it and permanently deleting them (immediately followed by a 'what have I done?' moment). But, alike you, when I've done this in the past, I'd simply start new collections. I now need to look for a way to permanently delete deleted pictures on my phone so what's left is truly gone...

I've just started on this journey, so don't have advice to provide. But, at least I can provide assurance that you're not alone in this.

    Best of luck, chief.

All of you guys are very supportive and i appreciate that! I haven't been on in a while and have relapsed, but i suppose it happens

@jakobee I feel you pain bro. I deleted my full collection when i wrote my first post, but have since ran a hard drive recovery to get them back. It's so hard to get rid of them because i wont be able to get most of them back!

My next step is to delete them again and run CCleaner. That makes them completely un recoverable. Thank you all for your support and i strive to be more active in this.

I hope all you guys are doing well and well done to all of you.
